aww he’s adorable but like others are saying I’m pretty sure that’s a little ratty lol, basically the difference is if u keep him he’s gonna need a bigger cage with bars not completely enclosed like mice, and you definitely need to get at least one more because rats are very social creatures and they are very smart and mischievous too, he will eat the same food as mice just more cause he will be bigger than a mouse obviously. I personally own rats so if you’re interested in keeping him I could send some product links!

Rats are actually great pets aren’t they? Sad they don’t love too long
@SoxTheCatDog24 күн бұрын
@ I totally agree! It’s so sad they don’t live long bc they are extremely intelligent and can be very affectionate

Yh I was wondering about that. Didn't they have 2 mice and they put it out?

Adult wild mice (and rats, which this might be a baby rat btw) have no problem surviving outside her van, because, well, they're wild 😅 this however is a baby, and she probably felt guilty about ignoring it and leaving it to die. Understandable I think

Interesting! I'd like to think I'd do the same, but since I have such an aversion to mice, I probably couldn't. You're an angel 😇❤✨

Guys!!! The other commenters are right, I fact checked and that is indeed a baby rat, not a mouse. So I read that the care is pretty similar, except rats need a higher protein diet because they grow bigger than mice do, and they need extra socialization because they're highly social creatures. So also uh, if possible, get another rat .

Very cute, but I think it may be too big to be a mouse...

I was thinking the same thing. We just found a nest of baby mice & this “mouse” is wayyyyy bigger with closed eyes. Our mice were smaller with different looking fur THAT HADNT GROWN FULLY OUT before their eyes opened. The tail on this one is longer & the legs/arms are longer as well. I’m hoping it’s not a baby rat.
@Hyperfixated.On.GrasshoppersАй бұрын
@@tiffturg why though? Rats are like awesome, they're smart, social, and are basically fluffy chaos potatoes

Was the mommy mouse the one you put out? 😂😅

I don't think so, if she found him on the road, at a different time than the mice in her pantry. From the few videos I've seen, it seems like they frequently make stops in the countryside, and there simply are many mice and rats there
