What most people do not seem to realize is that there are lots of heavy groups fronted by opera quality singers; but sticking artists in tiny boxes, limiting them to a single genre 😥 is such a shame. And look at the music; some compose music that puts the pop industry to shame.

I do hate when the judges act like metal or rock music is like some sort of nails on a blackboard. When in truth the lyrics to majority of these types of bands is a way of releasing negative emotions and the crowds tend to be some of the nicest people, if you fall or pass out at a show 90% of the time they'll pick you back up and take you to the side to sit and rest. Obviously overheating can be a cause of collapse. I have the condition myself, it's called vasovagal syncope, it can have many triggers such as seeing blood, heat or standing too long. Heat and standing are my triggers it causes low blood pressure in my legs then I just go down and out.

8:20... do any of you realize that screaming and holding on to a tune is extremely hard? You think that the music you listen to is the norm because you are programmed to like it. Why do think these people make millions off of you, but if you scream into a mic, it's looked at as if (oh they have problems) thats not the case. It actually takes more control to scream a song than it does to sing a song. The vocal cords can actually fray and destroy a singers voice. Most metal, death core, screamo, and hardcore, these vocals are so extreme and time experienced that any type of "pop singers" could never do it without the risk of destroying their vocals. At the top of your lungs using the proper part of your cords, try screaming a song and make it sound good with an actual band (not synthetic) and make formula to make it sound good.... if you can't, don't say anything as if you could. Don't like it?! Keep listening to what everybody else listens to
