Not everything is pop and these shows need to recognize that metal and rock is music too and there are A LOT of us metal fans out here. I love how everyone is talking about the first girl when she was honestly and truly doing the worst sounding inhales. Second guy I got respect for because he threw down some necrophagist and was actually doing proper false chord vocals. Third guy did probably one of the hardest slipknot songs to do vocally. Fourth guy started out started out with an awful attempt at a pig squeal and had pretty weak highs but his gutturals were pretty good. And the last guy seems like a seasoned vocalist and whitechapel is a killer band

Her vocal career wouldn't have any longevity, and her cleans wouldn't sound as crisp if she was doing inhale screams. There's no breath support when inhaling, so your throat does most of the work. There's a much bigger chance of wrecking your chords.
