As someone who used to work for Papa Johns last year, the New York crust is nothing more than a large dough stretched out to an extra large dough (14" dough stretched to a 16" pizza") and the sauce and toppings brought out to the edge of the pizza more, and the cheese ratio is a little less. Nonetheless, I still prefer it over the standard pizza.

I had this last night, March 29, 2024... It sucked just like all the other pizzas I've had from PAPA JOHN'S. The water pepper in the box was good as always. Fun fact, you can’t find a pizzeria in Italy that uses pepperoni. Apparently pepperoni is an Americanized topping. Sauce, cheese and toppings all the way to the edge, wow what a concept. I hate crust, and hate big crust even more. unless it’s stuffed with cheese. On a sidenote, I have my iPad volume max out and I wish I could turn it up a little bit more to hear you better than I can. I’m not heard of hearing, and there isn’t a bunch of background noise. If you could maybe turn your levels up more or your leveland make it louder.

I worked at Pizza Hut when they debuted the Big New Yorker and we used the Stuffed Crust sweet sauce. The regular stuff didn't get caramelized on the edges and was a lot thicker in consistency, so on a thin dough like that the toppings would sometimes slide right off.
