He hardly knew her t that stage . It wasn’t until the honey moon that he found out exactly what he was married to . So what ever love means was correct because he did not know If he loved her because he didn’t know who she really was . As for Diana she was living a child like fantasy of being a princess .

It was his duty that led him to propose. He saw her as a potential wife some 6 times prior to asking her to marry him. And she was a shy, silly 19 year old. There was never a relationship like what two normal people experience. She had never had a proper boyfriend. This poor girl was tricked into a relationship that didn’t even exist. It was love on her part fueled by the dreams of a young teenager. Duty on his part, fueled by the need for royal continuity. They all figured she’d be content with her place in the family. They never expected her to demand love in return. The royals never learn! Duty first, no matter who gets burned in the process. So cruel and so sad!

Diana was not tricked into marrying Charles. It was Diana's life plan to marry well, either a royal or a wealthy aristocrat. Diana wanted to be the Princess of Wales and have all the benefits of being married to the future king. Diana and her family wanted the wealth, notoriety, and a place in history. In June 1980, Diana's grandmother arranged for Diana to attend an event in Sussex where she knew Charles would be attending. Diana approached Charles at the event. In September 1980, Diana was invited to Balmoral for a weekend. The weekend was a JOB INTERVIEW and Diana KNEW IT. Diana pretended to like Balmoral and the family countryside activities like fly fishing. Diana pretended to be easygoing and cooperative. Diana lied to get the queen's approval to marry Charles. About a week after the job interview, the queen and prince Philip started pressuring Charles to propose to Diana. They were running out of options and Diana appeared to meet the criteria. If you read about their courtship, proposal, and engagement it was very clear Charles didn't love Diana. His proposal was a job offer in the royal hierarchical organization. It was an arranged marriage. Charles didn't change his bachelor lifestyle until the day before the wedding and Diana KNEW IT. Diana knowingly married a man she didn't really know and she knew he didn't love her before the wedding. The honeymoon was a disaster. Diana had unrealistic expectations and was disappointed and angry. She was binge eating and purging multiple times a day and crying. The smell of vomit is not an afridesiac. Two of the three month honeymoon was at Balmoral. Diana disliked Balmoral and refused to participate in the family activities that she pretended to like before the wedding. Diana was so angry she had a physically destructive outburst and Charles was alarmed. He found a therapist for Diana before the honeymoon was over. Diana refused professional help. Diana was not the easygoing and cooperative person she pretended to be before the wedding. They were not compatible. Their marriage was a mistake.

Diana actually pushed her step mother down a flight of stairs when she was an adult and a mother , She could have killed her , she was hard to live with and lucky she was forgiven and not locked up . When her father died her and her brother put all her grieving step mothers belongings into black bags and threw them out after the funeral . She didn't have much love for a perfectly nice lady who did nothing wrong .

Diana and Charles informally separated in 1986. Diana admitted Charles was faithful until 1986. Diana admitted she had an affair with James Hewitt starting in 1986. Diana had difficulty establishing and sustaining personal relationships. Diana was often at odds with her family and wasn't speaking to most of them at the time of her death. The common denominator in Diana's failed relationships was Diana.

However, in the 1992 Peter Settelen video called Diana Revealed, Diana talked about being deeply in love with someone working at the palace in 1984-1986. She said they talked about running away together. They were spending a lot of time alone together and others noticed. Allen Peters, another bodyguard, noticed and confronted Diana. At first Diana denied it but then admitted she was in love and involved with Barry Mannakee. Allen took action to remove Mannakee from service at the palace. Diana was very upset. Charles asked Allen why Mannakee was being removed. Allen explained the situation to Charles. Charles ended his intimate relationship with Diana in 1986 to avoid the possibility of Diana having a child by another man and passing the child off as an heir to the throne. Any of Diana's future pregnancies would not be heirs to the throne. I read Allen's story in a Newsweek article. Diana publicly talked about her unhappy childhood. She admitted she hated her nannies and her stepmother. She played cruel tricks on them. She said she put sharp objects in the seat cushions to stab her nannies and stepmother. We know that when her father married Raine, Diana was so angry she slapped her father across the face. We know that during an argument with her stepmother, Diana tried to kill her by pushing her down the stairs. We know Diana threatened and attempted suicide when she was pregnant with William. We know Diana struggled with depression and in addition she suffered from severe postpartum depression. We know that Diana had difficulty controlling her emotions and behavior. She was impulsive. We know that she was often at odds with her family. We know Diana had difficulty maintaining personal relationships. NONE of her eight or more affairs were successful long-term relationships. Her longest affair was with James Hewitt. During her affair with Hewitt, Diana was involved with Juan Carlos in 1987 and James Gilbey in 1989. Hewitt talked about Diana's extreme emotional neediness and obsessiveness. He said Diana phoned him ten times a day. In one video Hewitt said he stayed in the relationship because he was planning to sell Diana's love letters and make a profit. Diana wasn't easy to live with. We know Diana's parents provided her with a flat in London in 1978 when she was 17. I suspect Diana wasn't welcome to live at Althorp because she hated her stepmother and they couldn't get along. Her relationship with her stepmother improved years later. Diana's relationship with Charles improved after the divorce.

Oh stop all the rubbish. Charles was joking but actually he was right. No one really knows what "being in love" means. Its just an airy fairy emotion that does not last. Loving someone is far deeper than that trash. Diana's grandmother was Barbara Cartland, author of the soppiest happy ever romances always between a Duke or some nobleman and a lower ranked person. Diana had stars in her eyes and an unrealistic understanding of what love is. Its not a feeling. Its an action. Little girls get the wrong impression when they read trashy romance novels and they think that marriage means they "got to the top" and the work is done. The "happily ever after" takes real work and commitment.... and doing your part to mske the marriage work. Amazing how Diana's infidelity was never mentioned... because Charles covered for her

Camilla did not look like a horse . Had Diana still been alive today she would most likely look older than Camilla because she was aging fast and her features were becoming hard and sharp ,
