Just a thought, the last two vehicles I bought were new car leftovers. Both of them had been used as demo vehicles at the dealership. My Wife drives a 2022 Cadillac Escalade which she just loves. (And me) It has the self driving feature which is called Super Cruise which works on all major expressways and a lot of major state two lane roads. It performs great in the winters here in Michigan. You would not be disappointed in the Escalade. Oh and I just love watching your videos.

Amy, I am a retired auto salesperson…35 years, To get the most of the deal, it’s always best to not trade, , with only 75k miles you are smart to just sell it outright and negotiate with no trade

Be sure to evaluate the tax advantages of the trade in your state. Compare total trade plus any tax savings vs. what you may be able to sell it outright for. Here in KS that's near 10%, so to break even with a $$25k trade offer, I'd have to sell for like $27.5k outright. Not sure how your sales tax in MN? works. That and potential business deductions for "ag use" (parts runner! Lol).

I wanted used Honda Ridgeline in 2019. I couldn’t find one anywhere around so I ended up with a base trim level Honda Odyssey instead. I call it my (poor man’s pickup bcoz I haul everything with it including people once in a while! I’m in owner heaven with that van. The shift lever is not in the way and the cruise controls are the easiest to use in any vehicle I’ve ever driven! Have a blessed week guys!!

I looked at their used inventory today thinking about you. They have at least ten red used Cadillac SUV’s. Some of them were like new in terms of miles and condition and all that. Page thru their inventory. This dealership is known for their great service to the customer. Been around since 1955. Big family dealer. I would never pass any info on to you if I didn’t trust them one hundred percent myself. I have purchased several cars from them over the years. I like the Ford Expedition ‘07, ‘10, and ‘13 EL. But now that I’m down to 1 Golden Retriever and my wife passed I have a red Explorer. Used to drive Tahoes and Suburbans. What ever floats your “pontoon”! Go for it.

like i have said before you need to look into a LEXUS LX350 we just bought our 5th one it's a 2024 to many options to mention ton of leg room price is between 55,000-62,000 depending on the options, smooth riding, super quite inside if there is a lot of noise outside if you want to go bigger there is the LX450.

The 23 models with the 3.0 diesel engines are getting really good fuel mileage and are not like the older diesel’s we love our Denali

An editing hint. When you break away for a still or video clip without audio, keep the audio of your main video going (you two talking). Less jarring that way and there’s no harm with a few less seconds of you two on screen. Love hanging with the Larsons!

Watch out and stay calm with anti collision system on GM vehicles. I have a GMC Denali when I got close to the vehicle in front of me the anti collision went and it was an out of this world noise and lights flashing. It got my heart pumping about 3 times the speed it was suppose. All of a sudden you’re wondering what has happened.

Great video. I just got into San Diego yesterday afternoon, and I'm leaving tomorrow morning. Years ago, I sold new Ford's. Here are some tips when looking at new vehicles. Always ask the saleperson for the Smart Vincents. They show the real numbers along with the Holdback. The holdback gives dealers more room to budge on the sales price. Dealers are more prone to deal the last week of the month, so they hit their numbers. There are always great deals around major holidays, especially at the end of December. If you can bundle and buy 2 vehicles at the same time, dealers should make a better deal. Also, when dealing with the dealership financing team, ask if they're holding points. Thought for Dougo...I drive a white pickup. While driving in heavy fog or snow, I turn on my 4-ways so people can see me. To date, no accidents cuz someone didn't see me. God bless yons

A decision made in haste often ends in waste. One of my Dad's sayings. ❤ I truly hope you find a great vehicle that is meant to be. I want my next vehicle to be a Honda van or SUV or a Toyota. I have a CTS V and it gets 12mpg. That Escalade won't do much better, but then I live in Kommifornia where the gas is much much higher. The CTSV has every bell and whistle that was available when we bought it and all that means is more electronic crap to break. My 09 Challenger is still running fine and is old enough to have avoided most of the electronic gadgets. What ever you do make them throw in a spare tire with a matching rim not just the pump and a can of never leak.

My fourth Suburban is in the building. It's a garage queen now. My everyday is a GMC Sierra AT4 6.2 L ten speed. Dealers are always trying to sell, he called the 6.2 his hemi killer. My daughter learned to drive in a Suburban 3/4 ton big block. Get the caddy, you make it look even better. I do not care for the console that will hold file folders. You can get a nice lock box that drops in there.

I would like to be on the lot when Doug has "tractor fever". As a side story, I remember going with my dad when he was pickup shopping. About lane s: in the netherlands we use the lane s going the same direction. So 2 lane s north and 2 lanes south is a 2 lane road. Fun fact?: because of our lack of space( your state new york is 3 times bigger, but has the same amount of people living in. Our country is 2/3 farmland or woods ,green,,) the escape lane? (#3 lane on a 2 lane road) is used as a lane during high traffic times. On buying a car: check the internet on forums, groups if they mention issues or how the garages are. Also check craiglist or ???? on how much are second hand for sale and their mileage. Lots for sale with the same mileage? Then there mostly are cosly repairs😂.

I have a 2021 Escalade, love it!! You will not be disappointed. I had a 2010 Toyota sequoia before that which I loved, had over 200,000 miles on it and it never gave me a bit of problems, BUT the Escalade drew me in, and I don’t regret it.

Our son-in-law bought an almost new Escalade. He had been up to Canada in June. He had an older Escalade that he kept for pastors when they needed a vehicle. The older Escalade had many miles on it. We drove it when we were in Oklahoma. Our youngest Granddaughter used to say when I floored it, "Papa Ron, do it again!"
