thats wicked ... i always believed vikings had horns not as "weapons" but decorative to scare villagers into believing they were demons ... scare tactics that worked really well

Living proof that "forging can be fun". Imaginative out of the box approach that entertains as well as impresses. Skillful headwork at the end-the "helmet in the tree" shot at the end was inspired. Full respect to the veggie-chucker too 😬

I love how you take such a unique approach to these challenges, never going with the common ideas of a sword or an axe. Your Sodegarami was by far my favourite build in the Samurai challenge. This build is a really close second I love the idea and it looks awesome. But I have to give my vote to Njord this time, his axe-sword is a work of engineering art. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing what you can come up with when the next challenge comes around

Hands down one of the funnest builds. You always think outside the box and bring fire content. Only thing i would change is sharpening the other side of the horn thag way if the first misses the second can do some damage instead of bouncing off. Overall awesome build.

Great look! Minus the horns, this is pretty close to what I would wear in a old-timey battle. Speaking of the horns, how much did the centre of gravity change with them on? What did the entire piece weigh? And how did your neck feel after the last day of filming? 😅
@PJTForging8 ай бұрын
It was definitely top heavy, but weirdly because it was so snug, it didn't feel particularly unbalanced. Honestly, my neck felt fine afterwards, I did warm up prior to the ninja-ing, but yeah, I was expecting a few sore days that never came. 😅

@@PJTForging Glad to hear that you came out of it unbruised. I felt for you with all the attempts to catch a flying vegetable, and I really enjoyed the final shot of you head butting the tree!

re historical evidence of viking helmets having horns. There was one guy that was known for it - Erik the Red. And he kept his drinking horn attached to his helm evidence is dubious but there is some.

Hey man, I'm sorry you don't find my sense of humour to your tastes. I've used humour for years as a coping mechanism to deal with personal stresses, and a lot of childhood trauma. Being the class clown is perhaps not the healthiest way to make it through life, but it's worked for me so far. I guess it isn't always for everyone, but I try hard to make my content entertaining for the majority. If you have any tips on the sort of comedy you'd like to see, I'd be willing to listen. All the best.
