I’ve just bought this van as I’d had previous types of vans and they didn’t work out , so looking forward to adventures in this one ! do you fit laying down at an angle or did you have to use the passenger seat for extra space ? Thank you !! P.s love your videos really chilled and breaks down what to do even for people like me who have zero build idea !!
@PJTForging6 күн бұрын
@kerryhughes9872 I can just about fit in it diagonally with relative comfort, and I'm 5'10. I would however recommend the extra leg room, as it is definitely nice to stretch out. :)

I know this video is about 2 years old, but in all sincerity, I loved the Buterfly, Steelix and Magnemite build and your video teaching common twists, I'm a beginner smith and mostly selftaught and those were really cool, I'm still getting tools, still need an anvil and all power tools that easy up our life (belt grinder, hidraulic press, etc) but seing those videos motivated me more. greetings from Brazil!

thankyou for this video, and for the tips! i totally agree to you when you say that working with the proper temperature it's important and it's much more difficult when you work with orange-heat on massive blocks.. i experienced that by trying forge a hammer with a very few quantity of charcoal available and insufficient heat😅

This is terrible. I couldn't make it, but it doesn't fit the theme really. It would be more dangerous for the person using it than anyone they were fighting. 1/10 for making it though.

This is great mate, u always think outta the box.. can ya help me while I'm messaging I've started bladesmithing and looking for a press I live in the UK.. its only gonna be a hobby for me.. and best places you know for steel or steel powder thanks mate
@PJTForging3 ай бұрын
@herbilishes thanks a lot! Honestly, if you're only planning on it as a hobby, I wouldn't worry about a press for now. They are hard to come by in the UK and pricey. Steel - avoid steel suppliers unless you need a particular alloy, have a look for scrap yards/recycling sites. Steel powder - also hard to get hold of in the UK. I'm assuming you're interested in canister Damascus, but this is something I haven't tried personally.
