I do hope the price can be lower, but Sony doesn't sell a ton so they can't really push down on the price to make a significant enough profit. As long as they are using the money to innovate and at the same time improve from the previous version, I think it's the best way.

I always had Galaxy phones and wanted to tried different brand, got Xperia 5 IV on Black Friday for $800 with free Sony Noise cancelling earbuds WF-1000XM4 with I think is a great value. But for 1k for just the phone I don't think it worth it.

Phone feels decent, then again Sony getting way to comfortable with 1500$ *flagships* And 999$ *upper midrange* devices. This means that even though sony trying to package almost their all into this phone. It can get easily smoked by a phone that was designed for the 999$ tag like the pixel 7pro or iPhone 14 pro. If you consider this like a sidegrade to something like an s22u, one mark4, mi12s ultra. Then it slaps. Just a shame to see sony phones go like this 😢. I miss the old xperias

The heating problem was a thing with prolongued 4k 120fps video recording. Which was fixed by disabling some features for normal recording.

You can't uninstall Facebook it over heats due to sonys choice it's too expensive you don't get a charger in the box no screen protector or case yes sony made many mistakes with there phones including the Xperia 10 mark 4 will they learn from them who knows let's see what 2023 brings if they don't improve they should bow out gracefully like LG did the 10 mark 4 is 359.99 euros and the 10 mark 2 is 358.99 euros marked down from 460 euros until sony sort out their issues no thank you sony
