@@JunkJordan I am talking about rebounds. Rebounds are all about height and determination. A 7 foot guy in a league where some players barely stood 6 feet tall would get all of the rebounds. Scoring was different because you had to have decent dribbling ability to get to the basket and you had to keep dribbling as you were shooting. The bullshit today where you can take 1 and a half steps with no dribbling and then dunk or go up for a layup was not how they played back then.

There’s a Picture of lebron holding a page that says 38,980 or sumthn. I telling me he scored that in one game? No. There’s multiple reasons for things.

4,000 people saw it? That was the average attendance for a game. An arena barely held 5,500 at the time.

it's very believable, wilt was way better and the Knicks were one of those worse defenses in the league then. if cheyl Miller aka Reggie Miller sister can drop 116pts in high school! why is this so unbelievable

@@thomas8794 right he has the most 50pt games, 60 pt games and 70 pt games. Not like he just scored 100 out of the blue, wilt was a machine then

Simple question. Since 4,000 people saw the game how many came out over the years and said he didn't score 100 points in the game? Gp back and look at game tape the man could do it I watched him some on tv playing he was difficult to stop period. There is probably no current player that could hold his scoring down. The game was changed because of the man he was a beast! This video is a joke. Wilt was an amazing athlete.

Wilt has 90 records that hasn't been touched in over 50 years. How come you want to discredit the man for his accomplishments!!

It literally happened. There is recording of the live radio broadcast for the 100 point game. Also Harvey Pollock, the NBA's greatest statistician (literally is the father of modern stats today) was also there, and he is the one that recorded those stats. Along with wilt's coach, and all his teammates. They did not all lie. Get out of here. If Kobe could score 81, wilt could absolutely score 100. Today generation just don't believe anything that happened before they were born lol

There was a 41 point game he had in December 1959 where he made 11 out of 12 free throws, a 59 point game in December 1962 where he made 11 out of 12, 50 point game in January 1963 where he made all 14 of his free throws as well as a 35 point performance in February 1966 where he made all 7 free throws and another in November 1970 where he made 14 out of 16. It was possible just incredibly rare
