I mean I use my gasoline truck as a truck every day. I haul and tow with it fine and I don't pay nearly 6 dollars a gallon.

The 6.2l v8 sierra truck...with the towing package can tow up to 12k. Most trucks aren't towing heavy equipment, 12k should be enough for any other aspect besides large campers. Their are also a few box vans that are considered transport trucks that run off gasoline. All trucks have their purpose.

So a diesel Toyota hilux is a truck, but a gas Silverado 2500 (that’s about 1.5X the size) isn’t a truck.

OK, if you’re gonna say the coyotes is worse than the eco-boost you obviously don’t know shit about the coyote the coyote can handle around seven to 800 hp stock depending on which generation of coyote you have i’m not saying the eco-boost is bad motor and I know people I’ve been able to tune those things to make good power but even let’s say if you would’ve build out each of the motors there’s coyotes making 1500+ horsepower. there’s one 2000 hp. Ik the eco-boost is not making anywhere near that and what do you mean gas trucks aren’t real trucks hell. They’re probably the thing that’s gonna gap you on the road.

I’d stay with the coyote my dad has a 2020 F150 V8 it works and runs fine 6” lift and 35” mud claws 13.5 miles per gallon runs smooth

My dad had a 5.0L 2022 and he could only tow maybe 10K, and had piss poor gas mileage, and he traded in for a 3.5L so he could tow up to 13.5K and better gas mileage

Diesels were made to tow more than gas engines if you want to tow get a Diesels if not get a gas one they are cheaper to use

2024 and we’re still bitching about who’s truck is best we’re all being taxed new Tundra looks like a Silverado 04 cateye is for sale on marketplace with 369,420 miles with a blown transmission for no less then 15k and gas trucks are seen pulling often more then diesels are these times confuse me a lot.

Those eco boost and gm 2.7 aren't trucks. They're glorified family haulers. They fail early when worked hard. Direct injected motors suck for working trucks. Fords 5l isn't the best either, but I'd taie that 10x more than their little ones. Gm is owned by china, thanks obama. And the government killed the hemi for emissions. That actually was a good motor if you worked it. The while hemi tick was only .17% of all motors. Thats .17, not 17. The issue was excessive idle. The 6.4 isbthe best gasser on the market for now. Fully forged internals. That's probably gone as well in 27. Cummins is supposed to bring out a 6.7l gas engine. They are already testing it. 660tq at like 1,200rpms. They would be wise to use it. The ford 7.3 is trash in workimg trucks. They put them in Comercial apps and theyre failing around 60k. If you're just towing a boat youll probably be fine though. It just pulls the guts out if it when pulling 15k all the time. The ram 6.4l, i saw a guy who had a fleet of 5 3500 6.4l pulling Comercial hotshots at 16-18k lbs every mile. He was getting 350-450k miles before they had any issues. Again, low idle times are key
