The reason they can’t bring back 6v6 is because it’s literally the only thing that was different about OW1 now. If they bring it back then they are admitting that overwatch 2 was just a cash grab remake because there would be no reason for overwatch 2 to exist.

Yeah there definitely need to be some changes. Imo it either should have been more health/ less heal or more dmg(larger projectiles)/more health. Cause more health/more dmg/ less heal feels really bad to play as support. You can’t heal up the more hp cause the enemy is doing too much dmg and reducing your healing rate.

The idea of the armor change is good but needs tweaking, maybe like -25 dmg instead of -5 Because now you still explode but against different heroes.

This mid season patch was one final nails in reapers coffin, this shotgun tank update destroys reapers whole role, which is to dive tank and take advantage of those shotguns and their massive damage output when up close, now he can’t even out-survive the tank, he’s pathetic in a team fight now because of this mid season patch Reaper hasn’t been good for a while but now he’s the worst hero to play in any game because he can’t even get in close to pressure tanks He just needs a buff to most of his kit tbh

He's not built for 5v5. No DPS or support should have the ability to 1v1 the only tank especially if they take no skill. If he could then tank would be even more miserable. He needs a rework and they teased that he's getting one soon.

I feel a slight change. So yep tanks still feel horrible. 5v5 will not work if the devs aren't gonna do anything about the counterswitching. Yeah just go back to 6v6 i miss playing wity my friends.

The tanks have always died too quickly, ever since OW1. There was no way to do your best as tank, 'cause there was too much damage in 6v6. Removing 1 player on both teams, increasing the tanks' HP, increasing everyone's HP & reducing headshot damage on tanks, finally made the tank role playable. The tanks were suffering from too much damage with too little HP. It got to a point where all tanks were bad, so the only tanks left are the tanks that has high survivable but, they can't do much themselves. It felt like tanks got worse after OW2 season 9, when the projectile sizes got bigger. Overall, though I think the game is in a far better state then it was during OW1's "best patch". That patch realistically meant nothing. The only thing that happened was nobody was playing the broken character, or the broken character got fixed.

What. Are you talking about bro tank didn't die to early in overwatch 1. They had perfect amount of survive ability tank wasn't just about taking massive amounts of damage. It was about making space and keeping space. You dont understand the fundamentals of the game like the people on charge of the game now.

No it just made tanks nearly unkillable now, and tanks are somehow still gonna suffer against Sleep and discord, which is the main issue tanks are facing. Instead toning these ablities down, they decide to buff tanks around these.
