Did we do the right thing by swapping Volvo's? This one is in rougher shape 🤔

We sold our 1961 Volvo 544 for the same price we bought it for... $6,000. But we also got a 1959 Volvo 544 for free with the deal. So it means we are starting at $0 for this build which is obviously ideal. The one we sold was a running, driving, stopping car that had a complete interior. This red one doesn't run, has rust issues, and needs a new floor. So are we really further ahead? Or should we have kept the white one? 🤔

Remove the front end, fenders, hood, etc. Lengthen the wheelbase . Then install a ram straight 6 turbo . Black satin paint and big wheels with a radiator and grill shell from a 30's car. Bam ! Awesome car.

Way back in Sweden I had a 1960/1961. A half year model. Black with lots of chrome. B16 engine 6 volt system. It was nicer than the 1961. 1962 had the B18 engine and a 12volt system.

It was a genius deal for Hiltz. New project car for free basically. To top it off it's resell red which will buff out nicely. Being the car is big fender small stature car it can be made into a really cool custom for Chad to work his magic :)
