We left Ventura Beach, California on our way to Yuma, Arizona. It's 100 F...so why are we in Yuma? We have to pick up an addition to our RV family.

When doing a partial fueling, don't worry about getting the same amount in each tank. The truck will do that automatically. My company occasionally has me get 65 gallons to get to a cheaper place. I've filled just the driver's tank and immediately parked for the night. When parked, the gauge went from full to about half.

Dave when you are pulling the Jeep behind your 5th wheel, do you have to have fuel in the Jeep, other than what you would need if you weren’t pulling it??
@bigtruckbigtravels Жыл бұрын
Great question, Paul. We pull our Jeep behind the Class C motorhome. It does not use any fuel while being towed. Also, the odometer does not increment mileage either since the engine is off. The Jeep free wheels while being towed.

Ok, guys had Cindy talked in to a sbs. Was looking at a Polaris for $20,000. Then I had a brain fart. Decided to go to my favorite educational TV. KZbin and typed a search for lifted Smart car. And guess what I found some guys have turned there smarts into off road rigs. So we decided to turn our Smart in to an on road off-road car. And its still legal to drive on the highways and off road. Where as a sbs is not in most states. By the way the kit cost about $3000. Will be putting a winch on it. Also by doing this we free up our Toyhauler garage for our office/extra bedroom. From what I have seen you really don't need a full time 4x4 in quartzite. Safe travels and roads Brian and Cindy, "xtreambydesign with passion"

So where do all the names come from that you name ur vehicles? What’s the back story? 🤷🏼♂ Lol
@bigtruckbigtravels Жыл бұрын
It's pretty geeky, actually... we like Star Trek and dark skies. Our first 5th wheel was a DRV Houston (as in, "we have a problem"). Our SUV's we owned were an Explorer & Expedition... we went the space route and started naming after NASA exploration vehicles. It made sense to us.

@@bigtruckbigtravels you’ll soon find out that the truth was in those programs and that nasa is all fake. A lot of stuff that’s gonna turn ur heads upside down.
