Gold mine of information. I did change my listening position and distance because of the previous videos and i am a lot happier with the results.

I totally agree with your point of view. I have been changing my front speaker and subwoofer position ever since I bought a new AVR 7 months ago. My hi-fi system is in a diamond shape living room. I am still tuning my system or sitting on different chairs in order to get better results. This is my hobby and I enjoy the process and feel happy whenever there is progress. Thanks for your advice.

Excellent observation on all variables at hand... Especially for new room nodes. ;)

Hi Andrew, thank you again for your wonderful videos. Now i would like to share with you some information that may be as important as changing the listening distance and hope you will give us your feedback. « the power cable » I know it is not your subject but still, it is one factor that may have an impact on the sound quality. The power cable should be the first to be upgraded in a set because the audio signals rely on extremely small voltages to transport details. Like the difference between 16 bits and 24 bits recordings that might have heard the difference, the low-level information offers more refinement, a better-defined stereo image, and what becomes known as a black background. So there are no 24 bits converters that have 24 bits resolution because it required a lot of precision that can not be made until now, and the 24th bit in a Dac that outputs the standard 2 volts would represent a voltage of 0.24 microvolts, well below the thermal noise of a precision resistor. In practice, the measured display is slightly more than 19 bits resolution in both AD and DA converters, and the 19th bits represent 7.6 microvolts in a system that does 2 volts at 0 dB full scale. The conclusion is: The power cable has an important impact on the audio sound quality in a good system. Do you believe Andrew that this subject worth making a video from your part ?

Thank you! It’s a very difficult and contentious subject, and I myself don’t have a good grasp on the audibility of different power cables. However, your argument of lowest bit resolution in a digital system and the resulting infinitesimally small voltages is an interesting one.
