@@BuckinBillyRaySmithWe all have a God-shaped void, that we try to fill with counterfeits that only Jesus Christ can fill.. he wants a relationship and fellowship with us. He loves us and wants to spend eternity in heaven with us. We need to be sorry to God for what the Bible says is sin. Only once we realize we're lost can we be saved by trusting and the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He shed his blood for us taking our sins upon him, and he gives us his righteousness when we put our trust in his finished work on the cross, asking him to forgive us and save our souls from hell.

The white oak can take a little longer to cut when it's dry. The chain on the 044 was dialed in! Very nice. To me here at home, it splits better with a axe the dryer it is. I still use my splitter on the knotted stuff. Great video!

My all time favorite Stihl chainsaw. I run a 28, 30, and 32” bars on mine. They’ll pull a 36” okay as well as seen here. Scott’s saw is an early first gen 044, they run the best. I agree about the dogs! The 1122 Stihl dawgs are perfect. No need for anything bigger on that model. Yes, I’ve been guilty of knocking out undercuts with my saw as well… bad habits are hard to break lol! Great tips for bucking too. Just a great video!

@@BuckinBillyRaySmith No worries, man; the Flying Geese need a good home. Either for you or for Jeremy Bell, but he’s on the Least Coast and we’re on the Best Coast, ha ha. I’m surprised Scott/EC hasn’t taken you to experience the Doerner/Brummit Fir; just a short drive from Da Burg. At 100m in height, it’s the World’s Largest Douglas Fir. And until the recent Chinese Cypress discovery; the Doerner Fir was the World’s Tallest tree that wasn’t a Redwood. I think it’s still like #4 in the world by height and is 11.5’ DBH/36’ circumference. Next time you’re down here, I’d highly recommend going for a visit, man; the top doesn’t look too healthy, so experience it while you still can. 🤙

@@stephenreiner1523 I agree - I’ve seen him running with a 261,362 and a 462 on the channel but never an 044 … which is arguably the finest 70cc class saw ever produced ! I like them so much I have 4 of them 😂 … With a lil performance work they will run with / exceed a modern 462c , 572xp which is a testament to the design. A true ol school muscle saw , that any serious chainsaw aficionado should have in the saw stable. Certain versions (10 mm wrist pin and Kolbenschmidt cylinder) run darn near a ported saw with the dual port muffler and have a unique sound to them ……. From the factory !
