@hypno_bunny2 ай бұрын
It's not temperature. It's how cooked it is. Well Done or Rare.
@TR-wh1un2 ай бұрын
@@hypno_bunnyYes how it is cooked is referred to as 'temperature' - even if you're a philistine I'm surprised you couldn't figure this out from context. Like 'rare' 'medium' etc literally refer to specific internal temperature ranges the steak is cooked to. Before you go correcting someone next time check your ignorance
@WobblesandBean2 ай бұрын
@@hypno_bunny That's.... literally what it means, though. Rare steak range is 115-125°F, medium is 130-145°, and ruined is 145°+.
@PeteyThePenguinn2 ай бұрын
You know how you cook things? With heat. You know how you measure heat? With temperature.
@hypno_bunny2 ай бұрын
@TR-wh1un Obviously it's cooked to a specific temperature inside of the steak. But, that's not how people DESCRIBE the doneness of a steak. When people ask, "How do you want your steak?" No one ever answers "115 ° please". They use descriptive words to tell them how they like their steak i.e. Well done, Bloody as Hell, Medium rare." And why? Because after being cooked and even after the steak has completely cooled off, (thus dropping said temperature) the meat itself is still going to be rare or burnt to a crisp. So, let's go over this again. Descriptive words are used to tell someone how COOKED you want the meat inside to be. The TEMPERATURE is a scientific measurement that will fluctuate from the time it is cooked, to the time it is being served, to the time it is cooled off completely. Therefore, people do not order in temperature. Check your own ignorance before arguing semantics.
