The Australian Alps aren't too high , 2000 metres only . But what they lack in Altitude , they make up in Latitude . They are situated in the Southern most Corner of the Australian Continent , just enough to catch Snow . Had they been situated just a further north , they wouldn't have had snow and instead of Australian Alps , they would have another name 😆 Maybe god decided that such a great Sporting nation like Australia should have Snow so that they can have also Winter Sports 😂😂
