Having recently studied for and passed the test that had questions regarding the 4 classifications of drones, learning runway lingo makes sense since some larger drones use runways to land and take off.

We are all pilots. We all need to know the rules. I've never had no problem with learning this information (it's not hard) and enjoyed it. Honestly if someone can't pass this simple addition, they shouldn't be flying in our airspace. Love this channel Jason!

Thanks for the update Jason. This makes NO SENSE for the FAA to add this to the test for part 107. For the most part we are not allowed to be anywhere within 5 miles from the runway. I think they are just trying to make it too difficult to do the right thing by complying by the rules. I do appreciate the class you provide and I am in no way critisizing you for the hoops the FAA is making us jump through just to play with our "toys". And that's all it is to me. I'm 69 years old and I have a hard time memorizing everything needed to pass this test. The way I "play with my toy" is if it's a nice day, and I want to play with it, I get it out and play. If it's bad weather, I don't. I get it if companies are using drones for deliveries and such they need to know much of this. But even the runway markings and signs, I just don't get it. Anyway, thanks again for the update.

Unbelievable and unnecessary, in my opinion. I obviously don't fly anywhere near an airport so I can't see where this would make my flights safer. But thanks for the info, Jason 🫡
