HTV, iron on vinyl. If you are cutting regular glitter vinyl, sometimes you have to use a deep cut blade. Depends on your machine, but this is my experience with the cricut.

Very Impressive! I definitely have to use this for future references. Im about to get a sawgrass sg400 and was looking into the dark garnet methods, and I'm glad I'm came across this. Wow the skull image and the light bulb was awesome. Im now curios about how to sublimate the glitter before you press.

You can cut your glitter shape and lay it on a non-stick cover sheet (Teflon) and apply the sublimation directly to the glitter. Once cool, peel the design off the cover sheet and then oyu can apply to your garment at the recommended glitter settings.

With the EasySubli HTV, you dont need to do with process. You can print directly on that without mirroring. This is the process to sublimate on our White Glitter HTV.

Monica, you can't sublimate on regular HTV, but check out our EasySubli material... it's a matte finish white material that can be sublimated and applied to cotton or dark garments.

This process isnt recommended for dark colored Glitter, or any HTV. If you try to sublimate onto a dark color, your sublimation transfer isnt going to appear very clear.

Ive tried printing out photos onto heat transfer sheets, and heat pressing them onto wide Satin ribbon (which has turned out well), but I want a glitter effect ontop. if you allow a couple of ml bleed on your sublimated image you wont get that white line around your image and it will be a lot easier to line up your image as the sublimation ink will not show on a black top., alternatively you can sublimate the glitter vinyl before you heat press it to the top.

To make it "bleed" is just a term used to make your subli image slightly larger than the sister glitter paper, since subli inc is opaque the dark shirt will eat it up and it will be invisible so it wont be relevant and you will hit all white spots so you don't get white lines if you miss.

You may have to raise your temperature on your heat press to 385°F and press for 45 seconds when sublimating onto Glitter.

Zain, a normal inkjet print would not work. Sublimation ink is specifically designed to turn to a gas and permeate the fibers of the fabric upon heat application.

Certainly! Cut your design and remove it from the carrier. Lay down a non-stick cover sheet (sometimes referred to as a Teflon sheet) and then lay your design on the cover sheet. Heat apply the design and after the glitter cools, remove it from the sheet and apply it to your garment.

I'm not understanding this at all. When you say cut your design, are you talking the glitter design or the sub design? If you have already heat applied sub design to glitter how will it stick to garment then? Please explain or do a video showing what you are talking about. I would love to do monograms this way but my cutters doesn't work like that.

Sherry K Sublimation is a process where sublimation ink is printed onto a special paper. When that paper is heated, the ink turns to a gas and dyes the fabric at a molecular level. Inkjet printers use a plastic based ink. The inkjet ink would not transfer in the same way.

Is sublimate ink the same type of ink you put on mugs, I use it to do mugs and such, have to have the sub-mugs to do it..I use my epson printer to do this, I have one printer with sublimate ink and one with pegment ink then another with just die ink, and plenty of siser glitter htv, question is just the ink sublimat ink and the htv glitter has to be siser htv glitter to do this ? so you just print on this paper you used and cut then place face down for 60 sec.....

Rene Gomez Sublimation inks are specifically formulated to work in sublimation printers. As far as I know, there isn't a way to put sublimation inks into an inkjet printer.

i am using new epson artisan 1430 for sublimation and it works wonderful, no clog ink. I bought refillable cartridge with sublimation ink in it onine that fit in this printer. this is tested. I haven't use my printer for a month until today and the result is stunning, i am so please with the result. This printer print 13W and up to 44" long. this is way cheaper than the leading sublimation printers. I got it at staples for 299.99.

hi rene gomez, when i got my printer was brand new but I have to start the printer with it,s own ink that comes with it to start the setup. then after setting up I switched it sublimation refillable ink cartridge ( i bought online) You need to put 1 cartridge at a time then press the first button from the right (ink drop icon). it will blink when you put the cartridge in, press once or twice until the printer recognize the cartridge or until stop blinking and move on to the next cartridge.
