Is it not enough to distinguish between the times in which the action takes place? What form do you use according to your scheme when the action is not specific, but the time is important (4:40)?

I think "have you found yourself?" is the correct one, because you're not asking about a specific time. To use "did you find yourself?" you have to add a specific time like "did you find yourself yesterday?" I'm learning too, so it's a guessing😂

We just use have +p.p about an event happened in the past but just when we don't mention time. Have you finished your homework? Did you finish your home this "morning"?.

Did you: if a situation only happens once or during a specific time (just got back from a trip to the u.s) did u visit newyork? (during the World Cup) did u watch the match between U.S and Canada? Have you: actions that can be done at any time( time is not important) or many, many different times/ just asking if this thing(action) ever happened. have you eaten sushi before? have you visited new york?
