People do not realize the absolute horror that a victim goes through after being molested as a kid.....but I know! One of my dad's best friends molested me at age 12...I am 70 years old now and NO ONE knows how that one incident affected my life all these years. But, it was not just that one incident; I was taken advantage of by others....as a kid your brain explodes, your emotions are crushed and you feel like a piece of trash. My mind was so twisted after those experiences that I lost total focus on life. I started to drink and then drugs, by the time I was 16 I would do anything to get a high....I was spiraling out of control. But then God intervened at age 18. I heard the Gospel and I ended up asking Jesus Christ to take me....and save me. Even though I became a Christian, I still had a very low self esteem. .....something that many victims wrestle with their entire lives! I hope all the people who helped cover up these atrocities realize how culpable they are; they need to ask forgiveness too!

Back in that time period, reporting something like this, was not something that was done.. I know.. that was my first question. But, it’s the same verse, Matthew 18, that was the issue.. Her Father DID protect her, and she says that..but.. people just didn’t know how to navigate.. and dare I say, Matthew 18 does NOT apply to ABUSE!!!! But, coming from the church, growing up in the Church, that is what we were taught, and we also were taught to forgive, and that people were “forgiven” if they said they got help, or asked forgiveness.. lots of Bible verses have been taken to the extreme.. wanting his Daughter, who was already walking in such shame, to not have to endure the scrutiny.. a lot of Parents still don’t report because of that.. a kid could be suicidal, and not emotionally strong enough to go before their abuser.. My cousin worked in this field.. for almost 40 years.. even in my late teens, I had NO IDEA, this stuff existed.. I get questioning her father.. and the why.. just trying to explain the mindset.. if someone else had reported, the police would have been involved.. Christians need to stop with idolizing Pastors, Christian musicians.. ugh.. and we also need to start being more aware.. and use common sense.. Church is one of the worst places for Predators, and the Internet! Just because someone says and looks amazing, is charismatic, etc.. doesn’t mean they are people of character… we need to stop assuming.. 😢

Legal consequences are outlined in the Old Testament. When Christianity walked away from the Old Testament, focused only on the Gospel of John, down playing the Gospel of Matthew and thinking God is a push over they have cursed that religion. Obviously, the group that tossed Cindy under the bus inspite of statuatory rape are far more in love with their church than in love with God. Too much mercy works against Justice, something many Christians stubbornly remain blind to.

I sympathize with the victim and pray she will find healing through forgiveness in her heart. God commands us to forgive as He forgives us! If we do not, He will not forgive us. This situation occurred 40 years ago. I understand Robert Morris admitted his wrong and asked forgiveness from her and her father in their presence. He repeated and admitted to his elders and the church of his infidelity. True he did not reveal her age. In his sermons he has shared his struggles in different areas and how God helped him overcome them. Every profound figure in the Bible had sins. God still used them. I also look at the enormous growth in his church even several campuses. I believe this is God's blessing through Robert Morris. My question is this, who has secrets of their own? God does not distinquish levels of sin. If you break one you break them all. Jesus said "He who is without sin throw the first stone." And asked the prostitute where are her accusers. Her reply was there are none. His reply was, "NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU." If we repent and ask forgiveness God will forgive us and will remember them no more. Why did this woman, after 40 years, come and ask for money ? She was attempting to bribe him by revealing this abuse if he did not pay. Is this right?

This video was very difficult for me to watch. I was sexually abused before I was 5. It set me up to later be abused by other men. My mother let one man around my sister and I and never believed us because he babysat us. Then, once again, a pedophile moved in and she was happy to let us stay with him and his wife.. They fed us and clothed us while abusing me. His wife knew too. Why she didn't stop it, I don't know. I got psychological help at 38 and I spent 5 years getting over most of the damage. I still have to struggle with the abuse as I encounter situations reminiscent of the past. This week the rapes and murders by the illegals migrants have wrecked havoc with me. Listening to this almost makes me want to not go to any church but I don't think Robert Morris was in a real church. I listen to Justin to be informed....thank you Justin. I just remembered that when someone told me they liked him, I watched once but something didn't seem right so I never watched again. Christians NEED to read the Word for themselves and listen to Good people like R.C. Sproul, John MacArthur, Voddie Baucham, The Gospel of Christ with John Henry!!!!!

@shepherdpeter God's forgiveness has nothing to do with obeying the laws of the land (Roman's 13)...you break the law you have to suffer the consequences. Completely seperate from God's forgiveness. The law of sowing and reaping. No where in the Bible does it say you can commit a crime and so long as God.forgives you you don't have to suffer the consequences imposed by the law. And if he is blaming the victim for being seductive...at 12!.....and not admitting to what he did that was rape...then he's not truly repentant and God won't forgive him. "If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Notice the word "confess". Hes not confessing to what he actually did...he obfuscating. If everything said in this video is true....have to consider this guy may have a vendetta against Robert Morris and may be exaggerating...none of us know for sure...unless you're in hisnchurch and heard exactly what he said....

Sex abuse, sexual assault, rape, domestic violence is death to the soul. It leaves a distorted view of God as Father, especially if a childs father or grandfather, preacher or priest is the abuser. Just about every Christian culture covers up these crimes, and the errant pastors get shuffled around to other unsuspecting churches. Sexual assault on the Native American Reservations is just as bad. the Tribal councils do not allow outside law enforcement involved in it. The Amish communities are notorious for covering up child abuse.

@thewordrappergma7713actually that’s not true, the woman who Robert Morris victimized has passed the statute of Limitations. That is why he’s not able to be charged criminally anymore. However the statute of limitations doesn’t apply for civil lawsuits which is what she is currently pursuing. She is in her 50’s now and can’t pursue criminal charges unfortunately. “For child sexual abuse victims in Texas, the statute of limitations is 30 years and does not begin to toll until the victim turns 18. In other words, the victim can file a lawsuit until they turn 48.”

I blame her parents just as much as the church leadership. A neighbor raped my daughter when she was 11 years old and she told no one for years!! When she was in her early twenties, she was drunk and it spilled out. Just listening to this brings back all that anger that I felt when I found out what happened to my daughter. The Lord commands us to forgive and as Christians we have to. BUT forgiveness does not take the place of punishment. When I was a child and I disobeyed my parents they forgave me but I still had to face the consequences. When David committed adultery with Bathsheba and killed her husband God forgave him and he was still considered a man after God's own heart. BUT God punished David by taking his baby. My point is the parents should have gone to the police whether the church liked it or not. Not only did their daughter deserve justice, but also to protect other children. If you let a child get away with something once, sometimes they are extremely grateful and never commit that wrong again. But sometimes they will do the wrong again because they got away with it the first time. Adults can be the same way. So it begs the question - how many others have been harmed by this man that no one knows about???

For example, I could say at every event Debbie always “seemed” depressed, another could say, “aww, you’re just over reacting! She’s a public figure, she’s just being measured and tactful .” I could say during service Robert Morris on most occasions had a long list of guest pastors and speakers that I knew were NOT responsible in sharing the faith of Jesus Christ, ( i.e., Ravi Zacharias, James Robinson, Michael Todd, David Green, etc, etc, etc), another could say, “Man!! Another would say, “Now that’s not being a good Christian, we’re supposed to support one another and encourage one another. Are you even reading your Bible!?” I could say a higher up Gateway staff member at a particular campus had a side business we patronized and the money it cost us to clean up the damages they caused by using a foreign overseas contractor who not only hacked our services, but failed to complete the work was most stressful. This was reported to Gateway only to inform them this member deemed a “senior” member should NOT advertise their services to members in this church. They ignored it and made a deliberate effort to support this person by elevating them to a higher position that works even closer with members. With ALL that headache, another would say, “Maybe you shouldn’t have used the church for your business. The church is for worship ONLY, sorry that happened though.” I could say I knew of youth relationships by youth pastors and members that were NOT pure, discovered via my teenagers who heavily participated in just about ALL youth groups activities, youth conferences and home youth ministries. While another would say, “Kids! You know how they are. I’m sure it’s nothing..” I could say when I went for a meeting at their HQ for the first time it was like I entered the HQ of a secular Fortune 500 corporation and I have entered many around the country. It was by NO means a warm and inviting atmosphere as portrayed every Sunday across the pulpit of multiple campuses. However another would say, “Well I mean, it is one of the largest churches in the state if not the country. With campuses outside the state and prison broadcasting. Man!! Loosen the leash why don’t cha!!” I could say in a few of Robert Morris’s sermons he literally stated how he manipulates the audience to get women’s attention or the emotional side and men’s attention or the logical side. For some reason I’ll never forget what he said and the fact he actually said it makes double the reasoning, but another will say, “Well you do know, to be successful in life, you’ve gotta articulate yourself and he’s doing it. Leaders go where the rest of us don’t go. I mean look at his membership numbers!!” I could say their regular “Prophecy Conference” seemed a bit awkward. This is a service when leaders in the pulpit randomly call out someone in the audience and “prophecy” their life. It appeared artificial to me and a bit staged as in the speaker seemed to “fish” for things to say. But another would say, “well I’m sure it helped someone. Let’s not be too critical of’em. Remember God loves everybody.” I could say I unexpectedly ran into a campus pastor at a department store whom we each knew each other well “while within the walls of Gateway” However once we made eye contact down this store aisle, he actually rolled his eyes and moved quickly in the opposite direction in haste with his head down. Now I must say this is the same campus pastor months earlier who saw me sitting in the same restaurant as he was dining at and I paid for his lunch before he could pay for mine as the waiter explained the “competition”. However another would say, “See! You’re just over reacting. Nothing really happened there.” I could say when Gateway showed interest and purchased a church in Jackson Hole, WY that was a 🚩 to me immediately based on my research of what historically goes on there, but I’m sure another who’s research consists of the top three Google searches would say, “Well what goes on there?? What Conspiracy Theory manual have you been reading?! I’ve never heard that (therefore it’s not true). I could say when well know preacher and speaker Tim Ross (who was on staff during my time at Gateway) was given the blessing by Pastor Robert in front of us all and funded Tim Ross to start a church this was admirable, but soon turned weird after Tim “closed down” the church after many years and started a foul mouth Podcast with this new revelation about how God wants him to communicate with the lost. I knew this had to be a VERY odd relationship between Ross and Morris before hand. But another would say, “ Ahhh, it’s just a coincidence. He who hath no sin cast the first stone. We all make mistakes.” All these things I could say I’ve known since 2020. Regardless of who likes OR dislikes TRUMP, he has been one to cause TRUTH to be revealed and exposed. For the positive or negative, this is the truth. With that I say well AMEN!! With that said, when TRUMP visited Gateway church in 2020 for a roundtable on “TRANSITION TO GREATNESS” where he asked Pastor Morris and Bishop Jackson to pray. I KNEW pastor Robert was finally caught for all his actions. For those who study behavioral science, TRUMP was disgusted with each and Pastor Roberts prayer was a confession, but many probably missed it. But in a society filled with ignoring TRUTH another would say, “I HATE TRUMP! He’s racist and fascist” ( totally missing the point AGAIN). I could go on and on with so many oddities I experienced, but NOW this exposure seems to connect FOR ME all these questions that could have anyone thinking something is wrong with themselves. This is why TRUTH is so needed from people. Everybody is comfortable living a lie in this country🇺🇸. No one desires or seeks to tell the TRUTH anymore. I love the Lord for many things, but especially right now for moving through those who are not afraid to TELL THE TRUTH. Something we all should have learned before leaving the second grade.

I went to Shady Grove Church back then when he was an elder Robert Morris. This all makes me so sick. One of my best friends I was a bridesmaid for got married there by the choir Director, who was ordained. He ended up having an affair with one of his choir members and was forced to confess before the whole church one night. While his wife sat in the congregation crying. At the time I thought this is really awkward with all these children in the congregation listening to this. I also work for Kenneth ministries before that for almost 4 years. I truly believe there’s way more to the story and a pedophile doesn’t quit and can’t be reformed. In my opinion. I believe there is very recent activities. And these preachers are going to go down. Sex child trafficking wait-and-see. I’ve heard people talk about being involved in these trafficking rings and a lot of these pastors are very much involved. I know nobody wants to hear that people are going to be so shocked. Maybe it’ll be the great fallen away who knows. But Robert Morris did way more in my opinion than 40 years ago. There’s probably more people at his church that were involved as well. The truth always comes out eventually Let’s see what happens.

I live in the Dallas area and have many friends that go to Gateway. I am not a fan of Mega Churches, but had been invited to a Gateway Home Bible Study about 10 years ago. The book is called "The Blessed Life: Unlocking the Rewards of Generous Living" by Robert Morris. I already was not a fan of the title having grown up in the "Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, Jimmy Swaggart" era. The first chapter was enough for me to not only NOT return to the study, but throw the book away. I didn't care I had spent money on it. I remember he went on and on about how he had a cheaper car or home, "the Lord" told him to give it away, and then "the Lord" upgraded him, and that process continued until he had a plane. I was like, you've got to be kidding me! I saw nothing Biblical about any of it. Many people I know that go there go for the programming, activities, and the people they can meet - sort of expand their circle of friends as many are single and are looking for people to hang out with. I hope this will cause them to think again and seek a better place to worship at. I love my small congregation!

I just discovered your channel recently, and I love it. I really appreciate what you're doing. There are more wolves than ever before, and our newly reborn brothers and sisters are so vulnerable. Thank you. God bless, brother.

This man Morris should not be restored to the ministry at all. He had been playing game all these years by pretending to confess his sin in a twisted way. He should be in jail Christmas 1982. Robert is a very dangerous man. He is shameless, immoral, and evil.

Hopefully, the States, or at least one of them, does not have a Statute of Limitations on such crimes. If that is so, he could still (and probably will) go to jail. In England there is no Statute of Limitations for such crimes for very obvious reasons. Let's just hope that this will be the case in one of the States in which he committed his crime.

It's terrible what happened to her at 12, and that her parent's did nothing to help her, instead they hid it so they wouldn't be humiliated. People better be mindful that, what's done in the dark, shall come to light. Help us all Holy Spirit to stay strong in the Lord and the power of his might!🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

'. . .that her parent's did nothing to help her, instead they hid it so they wouldn't be humiliated.' - Wrong. She was a child at 12 y.o. and told by Mr. Morris not to tell others, as she had no knowledge of what molestation is. When she opened up to a friend at 17 y.o., she was told to tell her parents where they believed her and her father complained to their church to have him removed. The church placed him under a 2-yr. restoration training and was back after two years (time somewhat questionable bec. there were stories that Mr. James Robison took him in to work at his ministry during this time, after he worked as security guard at Motel 6 temporarily). These memories came back to her when she was 35 y.o. but it was obviously beyond the statutes of limitation. Mr. Morris was lying to his church elders and Mr. James Robison (Life Outreach) in hiding this unrepentant pastor, who claimed that she was like Jezebel and she was the one who was seducing him - a childlike brain and character like that; shame on Mr. Morris as a pastor of God - a master speaker and manipulator.

I was at Gateway Church when Glenn Beck was there. I had seen red flags but Glenn Beck was the straw that broke the camel's back. He somehow made it seem he was a biblical expository preacher. Later I revisited some of his sermons online specifically tithe and praying in tongues. He frames the sermon before he goes verse by verse. He is the most crafty eisegesis pastor I have ever seen. And prideful on the pulpit. He and his wife Debbie have what appears to be weekly visions. You know Joseph Smith and mohamed both claimed to see visions. That doesn't mean they are from God. Anyway just because he has stepped down doesn't mean he will not be taking the blessed life on the road. There seems to be an abondance of wolves these days. I pray for Cindy. To think her and I are the same age and it started in 82. The way he has framed the situation is terrible. This is it is better to tie a milestone around your neck and be cast into the sea.

Glenn Beck is not credible, he belongs to a cult. How outrageous to treat him like he’s a Christian, let alone an elder.

Amen, and praise the Lord for the discernment He gave you. I believe anyone in right standing with God has that discernment, to not sit through those wolves tickling ear sermons for so long. It's tragic. It sounds like Morris has been given a silver snake tongue, and God has given he and his followers over to their deception. Very sad, and I am praying for them all. ❤ God bless Cindy.

I just happened to scroll KZbin and stopped on this. This was a fantastic interview. I live in Massachusetts where there are no mega churches but we have Pastors who don’t belong in pulpits as well. This Pastor Steve is courageous to expose names of individuals who actually knew the truth of Robert Morris’ life yet covered it up for monetary gains - and also those who continue to downplay the seriousness of this crime. It’s time to wake up church. Seek the scriptures not man made doctrines. His return is nearer today. Jesus is just. He first starts his judgment against his own before judging others and he’s cleaning house. Repent. Repent. Repent. Anyone in Gateway church RUN like Joseph did from Potiphar’s wife. (And thank you for offering assistance to Cindy. That was so sincere I teared up. May godly men rise up in local communities to run these type of criminals out of town with truth from Gods word. )

I also think that forgiveness is the answer here. Too many victims are give the “forgiveness” speech whiz hurts more than it helps.
