I think it was 112 that said on an episode of 106 & Park years ago that it’s hard to grow as an artist when the label boss is also an artist. He’s always gonna move to what’s in his best interest

Alumni class of 97 so Tha 90s BadBoy vs Deathrow feud was the soundtrack to my coming of age era ...so wen i was able to grab the very coveted tickets to tha HipHop Tour feat Jodeci, MaryJ, Faith (who didn't show 😟) Lil Kim, Adina Howard AND Biggie n Puff I wasssss ALL THE WAYYYY UPPPP! However I nevaaaa seen it for Puff n now i know why it was MORE than a feeling! S/o to the band "Boston"! n to quote the late great Gwendolyn Brooks: "Even if u are not ready for the dayyy, it cannot always be night"

If Kefe D ties him into Pac's death, that would be an epic end to his life story
@muskegontribune Жыл бұрын
Keefe D has no credibility. He said he never got paid. The guy who allegedly got the money to give to Keefe D kept it and he is dead. Puff is worth $700M-$1billion, no way his high-powered Lawyers would lose to Keefe D's court-appointed attorney.

Diddy definitely had something to do with Biggie’s death. They were riding in separate vehicles that night and it’s pretty sus that the assassins knew exactly which one to target. He also made a lot of of Big’s posthumous work and played on people’s heartstrings by memorializing him
@Dtown1996 Жыл бұрын
According to Diddy body guard at the time Gene Deal the assassin actually walked up to Diddy car but went away when Gene flashed his gun at him. My theory is that the assassin was planning on following the cars but saw an opportunity when one of the cars stopped at the red light.

@@Dtown1996Gene is inconsistent and he often doesn't make sense. He seems to be more interested in selling books than telling what he saw. He didn't see too much and even with the best intentions memories change
@user-wb7nv9ht1g Жыл бұрын
That's all opinion. Look at what you say critically and you won't feel so confident. You're assuming that Biggie was the target, not Puffy. There's plenty of reasons for travelling separately and just because he profited of emotions, that doesn't mean he had anything to do with it.

It was pretty obvious from jump. If you signed to Bad Boy you may be the artist but Diddy was the star. If you look at his artist credits his name would be all over the albums. I remember the producer of the Mo Money Mo Problems complained how he produced the track and all Puff did was tell him to add cymbal and suddenly he gives himself co-producer credit.

Thank God none of this affected Janelle Monae so far. She has her own Wondaland imprint, but she still works with Bad Boy.

Once Diddy made a name for himself he signed people he could exploit. He would get someone down on their luck and buy their publishing when they signed and then he gave them a hit or two. Then goodbye 👋. This also helped keep his label on good terms and gave him negotiating power.

With the amount of artists that Puff Daddy aka P. Diddy has screwed over, why do people still do business with him as if he won't do the same thing to them
@jayxtacee5695 Жыл бұрын
Shyne shouldn't have spent anytime in prison. He defended Diddy & JLo, and they should have hired the best lawyers to get him off, instead they distanced themselves from him & he was made to look like a criminal to the public. Diddy is a snake & he'll get his karma soon

I don’t think it’s that folks were expecting him to fund Rob after he parted ways with the label as in just giving him money it’s more so the fact that he didn’t see all that he should’ve from being an artist because of Diddy
