The kink story is full sexual assault, performing a kink in public where other people have to be a participant in the kink is just sexual assault. Its so creepy that the wife is ok with it, also who cleans up the pee after he pees everywhere???? Sure his pants catch some, but like it must get on the floor or upholstery. @hearmeout20782 жыл бұрын
First impression: Kinks and consent have to go hand in hand. You cannot “share” your kink with someone who isn’t consenting or even acknowledge that this is actually something s4xual for you. A good and supportive partner in my opinion absolutely SHOULD talk to their SO, not only they’re lying to their family, but they’re literally getting turned on about that. Do not put her family in a situation like that, some cities have kink or fetish clubs with theme nights and they probably have some piss fetish theme parties or something. So they should look up whatever they’re interested in and go with it. He should seek therapy and not sexually harass her unknowing family. BUT WE’RE NOT DONE: Ok so it looks like the story (real story or not) has been written and posted by the husband himself, posing as his wife. Now I’m wondering if his kink has really just to do with peeing or with being humiliated. Still, whatever his king might be, he should consider seeking therapy and I hope he can get a good support system. Too many lies and too small consent.
@TheFairylilith2 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Pretty much anyone would agree that for example exposing yourself to people without consent is wrong, these things are equal in my mind. While nobody is getting physically hurt from it, it absolutely is damaging involving unconsenting people in your sexual acts and it does not matter if the people know that you're doing it for sexual gratification or not.

hey there- religious studies major here! your take in the first story about the origins of "homosexual" in the bible are correct! the word "homosexual" originated in germany in the late 1860s and was not added to the bible until the 1940s as a substitution language used in the greek translations that loosely means "pervert". Its important to note that the bible is a compilation of letters gathered from disciples that were deemed the most worthy and have been translated multiple times under multiple political and social lenses, often to benefit those in power. This means that letters exist that have not been deemed "worthy" and that the context and language has been manipulated over time. This is not to say the bible isn't valuable, but rather to add context to the way we view and utilize it.
@noodlepoodlegirl2 жыл бұрын
This is truly fascinating, it deserves its own video! I have questions, and I’d love to ask my questions to someone who will answer in layman’s terms. I really appreciate your input, as well as your reply. Your subject study matter is so interesting! I could probably listen to you talk about it for hours and hours!💜

Whether or not the wording was changed- this still remains fact: God created Adam and Eve and explained the marriage bond Genesis 2:18-25. Jesus (God as man) then came to the earth and re-stated this, affirming it to still be an applicable law (unlike the old ceremonial laws that He abolished.) Matthew 19:3-6 Jesus says that male and female were made to come together and not be separated. If Jesus approved of homosexuality, the One who knows all, wouldn’t He have used more *inclusive* language here… knowing that there would be a massive misunderstanding in this area one day? Jesus did not inclusive language. He specifically said what He said for a reason. It’s tough to accept. But if it helps, homosexuality is just as hated by God as ALL sexual immorality. That is- any sexual relations outside of the marriage bond between a man and woman. He hates peds, cheating, abusing pets, etc. And remember this: not understanding/liking how God works doesn’t make Him any less real.

The cousin also wanted to make sure the history of the pearls and what the family went through was passed down as well. Both OP and his cousin are still grieving, talked things out, and are now on better terms. The cousin said she won't bring up the pearls again. OP also mentioned in his update that he is slowly parting with more of his late parents' possessions and is giving them to his children. So altogether a positive update :)

Because chocolate tastes good, but if you label it as a bad food, then they are going to start associating that bad stuff is awesome. In my particular case what has been working like a charm is to serve food with the dessert. All together. And yes, there are days when she only eats the dessert. As someone in the little community, not adult baby / diaper lover but adjacent, I think it's weird he's involving her family in his kink. There is a time and a place for that, and you shouldn't announce it to the class full of unconsenting people. If he was incontinent I'd understand but she clarified that it isn't medical. Man needs to start wearing diapers and not practice this in public.
@annamoore82902 жыл бұрын
I thought something similar. There is a difference in enjoying a kink you have vs using unconsenting people to satisfy your kink. Also, there are many people with a variety of kinks and most I would say could put kinks aside out of respect for a time and place for example a wedding. I feel if he is unable to to differentiate when the kink is appropriate to practice and when it would be more respectful not to then maybe he should see someone who specializes in those type of circumstances.
@Ash-mo7oc2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with getting off to consenting people but doing it to unconsenting people AND doing so because you "can't help it" all the while doing it because it is for sexual reasons??? This isn't a kink, it's a fetish and one that isn't under control which makes it into a sexual disorder. His kink may be to humiliate himself but his fetish is to get off from unconsenting family members, that means he has incest as his fetish. He has incestuous ideas and his wife is normalized it. She may think that it's all innocent and shit but does she really know that he isn't doing more than just peeing himself infront of family when she isn't around??? Like all people with fetishized sexual disorders, if you give an inch people will take a mile. In a healthy kink the people involved are under total control of the situation and consenting. Since OPs husband has no control over his sexual acts, it's only a matter of time that he becomes a sexual predator. Definitions for people that aren't in the bdsm community: Kink: an act or scenario where the people involved are consenting to be involved for pleasure. The pleasure may be sexual in nature but not always the case. Fetish: a strictly sexual desire where gratification is linked to an abnormal degree towards a person, body part, idea or object. Sexual disorders: a range of disorders of which the person has uncontrollable symptoms related to sexual acts or ideas that affects the people involved in a significantly disruptive way.

About the kink story. Im not an active participant in the kink/bdsm (the partners kink falls under that category) but I've been working to become more kink informed. What op's partner is doing is very frowned apon because an important aspect of kind&bdsm is consent and negotiation; op's family is unaware they're participating in the partner's kink and therefore can't consent. That's fucked. The fact that op is even letting the partner involve their family in the kink is not just shitty but (imo) borderline incestuous. The partner not being aloud at the wedding is their own fault. If op really wants her partner to be aloud tell the fiancée that he's agreed to ware a diaper (even if they aren't) and don't allow the partner to pee themself. I'm baseing my opinion and education on a KZbinr called Evie Lupine she's a kink/bdsm educator who's been in the scene for 6 years. Her content is educational and not really graphic. Also his kink is one that can be controlled and if not its a paraphilia(i believe that the right word) and the partner need to seek professional help. Also I say op and partner a lot because I can't remember their pronouns.

My parents had buckets in the pantry that had my candy and my brother's and we would maybe grab something every once in a while but we never over did it because it was always there. Making something seem unattainable is so damaging because later you have to make choices for yourself you don't know how to balance and you go for all the things that were once unattainable and going from one extreme to another. Balance is HEALTHY this whole concept of one or the other with no middle ground has never made sense to me. for the cake story: I grew up in a food-restricting household as a kid, not as bad as OP but along the same lines. Now, as an adult, I really struggle with disordered eating which blew up for me in college when I moved out and it can all mostly definitely be traced back to my upbringing.

justin was me listening to the pee story. i feel bad for the bride-to-be sister because op is basically gaslighting her into ruining her wedding because she allowed this bs to go on for so long. being a spouse means supporting eachother by making eachother better and staying strong during hard times. she's enabling him by not encouraging him to seek help and bringing a change of clothes for him when they go out or visit family?? how messed up do you have to be to subject your family to this.

For the cake story: I’ve been that kid. My siblings are currently those kids and I went crazyyyy once I got to college. I ate terribly and drank all the time, tried ALL the things if you know what I mean. I wasn’t allowed to eat popcorn so I hid it in my locker at school and ate it for lunch every day. Restrictions did nothing but make me go crazy when I finally got my freedom. I’d sneak my restricted food any time I could. Mainly at school or friends house. Being strict does nothing but make kids sneaky. I’m living proof.

On the birthday cake story: OP is hurting her kid more than she's helping. My best friend had these things drilled into her head growing up and she almost died from an eating disorder (she's healthy now. Don't worry). It has been well researched that you shouldn't demonize sweets. If you normalize it, they will eat more variety. My son turns one in a few weeks and I plan on getting him a smash cake. I've had some pushback from family about it and I keep telling them "it is one single day and its a special occasion." We all know broccoli is more nutritious than chocolate cake but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the chocolate cake. I fully respect having rules in your own house (within reason) but it's a fucking birthday party. Let loose, grab a margarita, and let the kid have fun. It is really not that deep.

Came here to say: the cake story bothered me so much. My parents did this, restricted EVERYTHING I ate and had me on “healthy/low calorie diets” from a young young age. They were obsessed with dieting and disguised it as trying to be “healthier”. This absolutely leads to eating disorders. I had anorexia for a while which I’ve barely recovered from. If it weren’t for my bf reminding me to eat I wouldn’t. Don’t do this to your kids that’s just trash.

For the pee story, I feel like this is more of a compulsion than a kink. It’s something he needs to go to therapy for and really work on. You can’t expect people to be that understanding lmao
@DjurslandsEfterskole2 жыл бұрын
About the kink; From my understanding, when you're not in control and it becomes obsessive-compulsive, it goes from a kink to a paraphilia that needs treatment. It seems to be adjacent to OCD, with intrusive thoughts and being obsessive-compulsive. I get what the wife is saying, about having vowed loyalty. However, I think this black/white understanding of loyalty as "stand by his side and support what he does" is really harmful. Rather than helping him address how much his paraphilia is obstructing his life and seeking treatment and therapy, she is enabling behaviour that is hurting her, her family and him. It sounds like he's struggling and ashamed, and that it's putting a strain on his relationships. My advice would be to go to the wedding - for sure. Celebrate with husband at a less sensitive time. For him to go into therapy and seek treatment. And honestly, for the wife to seek treatment as well, cause her normal meter is off right now, and she doesn't have to tools to deal with these complex situations in a healthy manner. The husband definitely shouldn't go to the wedding. Right now he's not in a place where he can make a promise to not announce publicly that he's peed his pants. That does not make him ashamed. It's just not compatible with a big, important event. It sounds like this solution causes him to feel deep pain and shame. That the negative consequences of his paraphilia is something he use to psychologically torment himself. That is something that'd be really good to talk through with a therapist. That isn't easy. However, the fact that facing the consequences of your actions is painful, is not a bargaining chip to avoid them. In the end, this wedding isn't about him, his worth as a human. It's about the couple. Biggest thing is, he needs to take ownership over his actions and affliction and seek help to figure out ways to tackle these, so they won't put such a strain on him and his surroundings. And the wife needs to realize, recognize and acknowledge the same thing. Standing by someone's side doesn't mean supporting them when they cause harm. Thank your for your thoughts

The mother is essentially teasing her son by bringing him to the birthday party. It's not right to expect him to not want cake when everyone around him is eating it, if that's how the mother feels then she shouldn't bring him to birthday parties where sweets are served. She's an AH and her child might binge eat when he gets older, I had a friend that did this and she got sick everytime.

in relation to the cake story and the food scarcity making ppl more attached to a specific kind of food: my mother grew up in the far north and any veggies they had were canned except for specific herbs and roots for a couple months of the year. when she was growing up, anything canned was salted to shit and super mushy so she hated canned veggies. when she was a teenager, she moved down south and had fresh veggies for the first time and she fell in love with how refreshing they were. even today, with all her kids grown up and moved out, she still makes sure there is at least one vegetable dish on the table at meal times.

For the one about the kid's birthday cake, I related to first hand. My mom was that parent that wouldn't allow gluten, dairy, proccessed sugar, or anything "unnatural" in the kitchen. This left my sister and I to seek out whatever food we could beucase there were so few options in our house. At school when it was lunchtime, all we had in our bags were clemontines and celeary sticks. We were not allowed to eat school lunch so we would sometimes have to ask for whatever our friends didn't eat. I was terrible and would steal other people's lunch numbers so that I could eat a meal. I still feel guilty about that to this day. I am 21 now and got out of ED treatment last year and my sister is working with her therapist to seek similar treatment. If you are a parent and are restiricting your kid's diets past what they are allergic to, you are creating unhealhty habits and boundaries with food. Your kids will find a way around it and become sneaky. It is not worth the resentment and future therapry bills.

with the wedding peeing at the wedding story, I don't think its the fact he can't control himself for the one day, it's the fact the family just does not want him there full stop. so even if he agreed to control himself for the day the family just isn't giving him the option to be there since they believe its uncontrollable and if they were to bring up that it is controllable it would break the lie, nor does it seem like the family is giving them the option to wear a diaper which would allow them to keep the lie. the question is rather whether the wife herself should go to the wedding without her husband since the family wont budge.
@briannam9162 жыл бұрын
They said the family asked why he doesn't wear a diaper and the wife said it's too embarrassing for him. So the family has actually tried to compromise here but if he's not willing to diaper up, can't blame them for not wanting a mess at the wedding.
@Demingirl152 жыл бұрын
@@briannam916 that's true and i get that's why they're not compromising, i more meant that tht's discussion focused on agreeing to wear a diaper as a solution when really that wasn't op's issue, so i agree with you.

I think everyone is overlooking a major issue in the kink story. That man needs serious therapy because he could be struggling with a paraphilia or some other type of mental issue. Having kinks is not a problem, but doing it around your FAMILY and feeling like you cannot stop yourself is. This kink is actively getting in the way of him living his life normally and that's when things become disorders. He should really get checked out and figure out how to control those urges moving forward in his life.
