Sitting here at twenty past midnight with tears in my eyes...again. This song meant so much to me since I met my wife back in 2003. We both loved Dido and her amazing angelic voice. Now I just turned 39, got divorced 4 years ago and pretty much lost everything and everyone I once thought to grow old with, after suffering from a burnout depression that almost killed me. It's been hard to realize how privileged I really was back then, how fragile life can be at times. Well, still miss those times, she will always own a place in my heart and I wish her all the luck she can get. Rejoice and let Dido's voice sooth your soul!

I just read an 900 page book about Vietnam vets through the words of all who went through it...the book was from the 80s it wasn't a gem and focused almost as much on the deserter as the warrior but the big take away for me was the women who married them...the way they explained the crazy love or lack thereof (and love making) had me twisting in my covers feet just running against each other

I saw Dido in concert in 2019 at the Olympia in Paris, and what impressed me was her immense musicality. Her voice never leaves the track of accuracy, she is incredibly musical down to the smallest intonations of her voice. Great artist.

beautiful song... we all have been there .... made a mess of a relationship and wished we could all take it back to once it was. I have listened to this song for many years, cried my eyes out many times at what I had caused with someone special but we still message even now after many years and even though she is with someone else, she does deserve to be happy and that makes me happy. Not the ending I wanted but we all choose our destiny, the path we take and most of all hopefully makes us more a better person for it. And yes Dido ... just want to say thankyou... we are all human at the end of the day and we all make mistakes ...

Thanks for sharing. I also caused a mess with someone special and hated myself for it. The guilt and thoughts of how i should have done things differently slowly killed my soul. It's certainly a self destructive path that can be hard to move away from. Still to this day can't fathom how i could act so careless towards the person that was closest to me at the time.
