Hi Sally. I wonder if you could show us how to make a garden hat from sinamay. Not fancy, but country. For actually working in the garden. I think it would provide some shade from the sun, without being overly hot. maybe with a tie sting and a ponytail hole. Maybe not. Might not be into this, but I would sure enjoy it! God bless.

Hi Julia! interesting thought! two things do you mean with sinamay or straw? and also do you mean a hat with a brim?😄
@juliaarmato39842 жыл бұрын
@@didsburyartstudio Well, I thought the sinamay might be cooler than straw, and a brim to block the sun as well. I just get sweat running down my face in the garden and also the bright sun can be hard on the eyes. I have a straw hat that I use, but it can be a little hot and I usually end up taking it off. I have long hair I wear in a braid and an opening in the back would be really nice. Thank you for your thoughtfulness! Looking forward to see what you come up with. :)

Hi Julia I was thinking that you could use some old umbrellas and sew it together.
