What do you work as?
After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE training in London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching Art part-time to 16-18 year olds. In addition, also teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I offer textile workshops to schools. I set up this channel in April 2020 after being furloughed during Lockdown but soon realised I really enjoyed designing, creating projects, filming and editing videos.

Really enjoyed it. I am learning the different weaves as I watch. The sumac is nice the beads added on make a fun texture. Ocean and tide pools and coral reefs have so many varied and interesting elements. Your kitty has the most Utopian place to live. Sweet. See you next time. Have a lovely evening.

Oh I am glad you enjoyed watching this. I might have to get some more beads to add to another weave in future....I think they work well too. Layla the cat is funny always looking to play with resources in the room. She's great company when I am working.😍

P.S. I just read your request. I am a retired Activity Director at a hospital Long Term Care . I have been sewing since I was 5 years old. I enjoy many types of art. Mixed media, also my quilting has lead me to do some Textile Art. I love color and texture. Interior design was a career I was interested in, but wasn't able to go into. Life happens, and some times leads you in different directions. I love warm colors together like; turquois, burnt orange, golds, browns, avocado green.. I'm looking forward to incorporating your techniques into Textile Wall Art. Just enjoying the ride, will see where it leads.
