Hi Diego. I think the tool you identified as a vertical drill is a tool to plunge into drywall and cut around holes, like your skylight opening, or electrical boxes

The transformation from last year, when you first built the laundry room, is impressive. With the installation of the tile next week, you won't believe that it is the same room! I absolutly love your content. Never want to miss any episode, cause it's always a pleasure. What makes the difference, is the music. Everytime I hear the sound, I see a lot of pictures in front of my inner eye, projects from the past, that are already finished. I still remember the colours of the former walls and floors (if there were any floors at all). The most impressive one is in fact the kitchen, which had not even a roof! And now it's so modern, with even the coolest sink I ever imagined. I want that too, plus a man who's cooking so well for me. 😂 Life goals.

Hello Diego, that new tool that you said was for drilling the floor plate is actually used for cutting holes in drywall(instead of a keyhole saw)for electrical and plumbing and thin paneling. And for cutting batt insulation you can use a big knife instead of a hand saw. Keep up the great videos!

That’s not a drill, it’s a plasterboard cutting tool. It’s used to cut around openings and outlet/switch boxes; you can cover them over and get a more accurate cut out. Like the skylight instead of the key saw/ hand saw.

I believe the tool you said is used to drill holes is in fact used to cut out drywall holes like in the skylight - it replaces the drywall hand saw you used. Simply turn it on, poke a hole through the drywall and trace along the edge and that’s it….

The tool with the drill is for making holes in plasterboard's like the hole for the sky light. It's not per se for drilling holes but used more like a router. I think it's called routeur manuel in French. Edit: Noted someone already said that.

All those great tools should make your work easier and go faster. I had a similar screw gun for sheetrock/plasterboard...it was a real lifesaver.

Buy yourself one of the oscillating saw that will cut sheetrock like cutting butter. They have a lot of different blades for cutting wood or metal also. I love mine especially when I need to cut something in a place I can't use a saw. They are well worth the money and I know if you ever used one you'd love it.

Where I live, the painters, in order not to wash the paint off the cuvette every time, put a suitable bag on it, usually a small garbage bag, and pour the paint on top. And when they finish their work, they take out the cuvette from this package, which remains completely clean, and throw it away
