Thanks Yanis have a great year. We shall see, but I tend to the old English solution to fading Empire; so more war and financial repression from US. I expect to see the EU in huge difficulty and UK too. USA will try to suck as much out of it's allies as possible. China have said they don't want a currency dominance since they see from history this results in collapse, so the BRICS organisation will have to think of something else, and anyway India has to be part of this. Unifying currency can only happen when sovereignty is given up to the issuer. I don't see the other BRICS going along with this either. It's time the colonialist relinquished the supremacy and granted the rest their freedom. But they will go down kicking and screaming "democracy" while destroying all about, it's all they know.

That you just outlined 2 ways that the dollar gets strengthened and are about to outline a third?

I think the idea is that when the dollar is worth because there is a demand on the dollar (investing)this means the value of the dollar is higher to some other currency and that makes it cheaper to buy stuff from other places rather than make it in the US. Hegemonic isn't only applied to the US like Oligarchy isn't specific to Russia. Japan is an amazing country. Interesting narrative you've shared.

Because history repeats her self dear Yannis, in a very near future 1 US$ = 2 € same as in early 80’s against back then to Deutsche mark ( if Euro still exists ) Happy New Year!

Wrong in just about everything. Donald Trump doesn't care about anything but himself.

Sorry I don’t understand the cause and effect of you first two points. I can understand tarries will cause inflation in the USA . I don’t know how uncertainty causes more money into buying dollars could you explain please . Thankyou

I’m so tired of every single neophyte droning about who’s in office and why they shouldn’t be. Give it a rest people nothing is getting done.

So why did the US help Japán even after the Plaza accords by allowing the sale of Japanese cars? Why Japanese cars are the most popular in the US?
@glenngilmour2562Күн бұрын
And toyota went behind the tariff wall and built in US. Could history repeat for the chinese ev wave
@rafverheyen5458Күн бұрын
The reason is simple, Japanese products are high quality (funny you call this "help", this is simply market dynamics, if a product is good and the price is OK, people buy it) and the Americans were seriously threatened by this. There would be no American production left, if they did not have the Plaza accords. Price/Quality was just so good back then...It is such a pity what happened to Japan, great people and culture, but they got stuck in the 90's and don't even realise who screwed them over.

We live in times of HORROR

There were 3 major forms of fascism that emerged during the 20th century: Bolshevism, Nazism and Corporatism. The terror of Corporatism is what the USA pedals around the world and imposes upon its own population

@g--glethe horror will be reaching your life and inner circle too buddy. ‘You might not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.’

@g--gle Sorry to tell you this but "the rest you can't control" is precisely the view that keeps you imprisoned in these conditions. You're not the only one to suggest this though. I would say that's majority (99% or more).
