I got one of those Chinese heaters as well. Love it but I haven't used it yet in my ice hut. I have the same Otter Vortex Lodge hut which is a kick ass hut. Before the diesel heater I modified the one window with a welding blanket chimney hole to use a wood stove in it. Works great but when I saw these diesel heaters, thought why not have a secondary heat source as well for winter camping. Although this winter has felt more like Spring here in Northeastern Ontario.

Thats cool! I also love the wood heat. Sounds like I did the same thing for mine too with the welding blanket. Thanks!!

That heater is sick. It just looks like too much work for me. Give me propane and my Portable Buddy. Nice recovery on that second Goldeye. I thought it was a goner for sure. Goldeye slayfest! And ending it with a couple Burbs. Great video, man.

@SaskFisher got the vevor 8kw model this past Christmas off Amazon, the heat these things throw out is crazy, have a lil 14-16' camper but also use a tent, busted my head how a guy could set it up,put the heater in or out,put the thing inside that exhaust gets so hot wasn't sure where to run the exhaust out but your way in your vid put all that to rest, some of those gas stoves you used too in your cooks and that rocket stove, seen the split log cook the other day too,man...gave me ideas ,nice and portable, throw it in the boat, done

Thanks a lot!! Oh I sure like em too. I agree being outside it nice and the safest. Still with that insulated tube saves a lot of the heat. No issues!
