This week at Ashville we are still playing Tetris in the aggregates yard; the refurbed hopper is finished and moved, Bay 5 is built up, concrete is poured, the diesel tank is moved and the car park is extended... and finally... we are back to work on the Basement Salvage video!

3PL! Third-party logistics. Tip: I would paint the bay number with an arrow below it, on the narrow side of the two top blocks, on the left side of the bay. That way your crew sees which bay they are loading and unloading from.

When I saw how much merch you'd taken delivery of and the order volume, I did think a fulfillment company would be the best option. I've done small scale fulfillment as a side line to my main role in a previous job and it very quickly becomes something that you need dedicated space, facilities and staff for. Glad you've quickly seen the need to outsource and focus on your core business.

Question for Ashville, it would be really interesting to know: how much material is factored into waste when you're unloading the train, for example, material that can't be picked up/gets compacted into the ground, spillage from the handler on the way to the bay etc.?

Another great episode of Ashville Weekly. Your guys continue moving forward to improve the yard and complete the containers. Great group of people working to have a productive and safe work area. Someone mentioned placing numbers on the bays which was a great idea. Has the Volumetric Lorry get sprayed. As your business grows space is going to become a premium. A plan has to be in place to satisfy that need. Great job to Daniel and all of his people. Merry Christmas to all of Ashville. Hopefully will be an Ashville Weekly next Sunday.
