You can tell by the fact that he didn't react at all that all of it was intentional. Frady's gonna be hitting the lab with Snake it looks like. EDIT: You can hear at 14:26 from Michael that Alfredo was actually practicing for the tournament. He's definitely going to be playing this competitively and I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to become one of the best in the office.

he was, the normal Hadoken is a much smaller fireball, the SRK has that crit effect when you Sweet Spot it on Ryu with the Input version, and has a vertical launch, vs a diagonal one of the up+b (btw, shout out to Ryan sweet spotting Lil J like 4 times in a row midair with the input SRK) honestly? if he was against anything but K. Rool Ryan could have made it to the next game(or if he figured out Shakunetsu Hadoken, since it's multi hit and would win the projectile war)

that robin was the weakest lvl 9 cpu i have seen from ultimate the ones i face constantly tech the ground and walls of the stage, they perfect shield almost any attack i throw at them or they spot dodge when i try to grab they also combo hard and yes edge guard me usually hitting me into a wall which i dont expect so i cant tech it to save my life that robin basicly did not do as much as she should have :/ and considering how much matt was dodging like it was smash 4 he should have lost that especially since the robin took 2 stocks from him so fast if fs meter wasnt on the cpu would have won which is sad cause i want to see a lvl 9 cpu vs lvl 9 cpu in the finals D:

Matt's not wrong that the CPU is really difficult in Ultimate. I've played tons of CPU matches in Smash 4 and the biggest improvement that Smash Ultimate's CPUs have is that their edge guarding has vastly improved, which also happens to be their deadliest improvement. Lvl 8 CPUs in Smash 4 used to be easy when you've grasped the mechanics (with Lvl 9 being the difficult one), but in SmashU, Lvl 8 CPUs already pose a threat and it is paramount for you to learn how to recover safely at the edge.

Also level 9 CPUs read your inputs and adapt and remember how to either defend or attack that move. Especially when they pull out multi parries from rapid jabs, like oi come on that's not fair 😂
