I feel like her goal when reviewing vegan channels is just to line them up against a doable lifestyle for an average person & she's absolutely not a vegan basher. I've never felt that. When people lose it over her comments I've always found that they cherry pick & hyperbolise what she's said, & people agree not realising she HASN'T SAID, for instance, veganism is unsustainable & Fully Raw Kristina ate "too much fibre". She just said the average person can't bloody smash out a forest on their work desk & sustain that. She's right! She's a dietician for the average person & she's pragmatic & she's reasonable. People have such an aversion to reason. Which we know because of the backlash against you lol.

@@AbbeysKitchen oh thanks for the response Abbey! I wholeheartedly agree. I tried going vegan about 30 times for about 20 years before it stuck & a large part of thr reason I failed so many times was because of how restrictive it was. Your recommendations and encouragement to reduce consumption if full vegan is not an option gave me the solution I was looking for. wesley hennessee there are others out there who have balanced diets. Have you watched Those Annoying Vegans! The seem like very kind hearted people and very honest and knowledgeable.

She also picks the most militant vegans. Mostly to debunk them and to call them out because as them being influencers, they've got a lot of sway. She wants people to be happy and healthy. It's not her fault that some of the vegans happen to be like Freelee. Super freaking militant and oh man... I wouldn't touch that with a stick. She wants people to go into a diet with as much of a benefit to them and not just because it's a fad. She wants happy healthy people! Vegan or not!

Our pediatrician actually works with parents on all different diets, to ensure proper nutrition. She was so nice and non judgmental about it. She referred me to a vegan RD and I feel so confident about raising vegan kids. I think it's very valuable for the vegan community to seek nutritional advice from a vegan RD.

I love that you're getting some recognition for your work! I found veganism through Freelee & co and luckily found your channel pretty quickly- you pretty much saved me from all that madness. Ethical veganism ftw, you're awesome

I think you really deserve such a positive review. Personally, I always link your channel to people who are snarky about veganism (and I'm a 'mere' vegetarian, although I try to avoid dairy and eggs. Not many vegan choices here in Italy) You are such an inspiration for balanced, intelligent efforts to eat and consume in an ethical, environmental-friendly way.

So happy you had something nice to say about Abbey I really like her channel. I put off watching this because I was worried that you might have something negative to say about her and I like your channel.

She's the most kindest out there. Kinda like you she proves her points with facts. She doesn't shame , hate or dehumanize anyone over choice of lifestyle. Instead she gives her advice on some improvements. She praises the people when do things right. Its like when you go to doctors. You basically go to get judged. But your not gonna say to your GP you're hating on me. Or your a hater or that your doctor made you offended. No we actually go to them willing and pay them to judge us. Yet a professional dietician does the same thing. But because she's done it on KZbin. Somehow us as a audience have the right to get offended and then put assumption, accusations on that individual. Its stupidity.

You deserve the nice comments, you do a great job and have a voice and opinion on nutrition that is really important for people like me who can get lost amongst the weird internet vegan fads. Hope your enjoying your day.

I have a DPD BS in Clinical Nutrition and I'm a week away from my MS in Clinical Nutrition. The more I study, the more I realize a well balanced plant-based diet is not only possible to be "healthy" but really is the healthiest. I also know that the vast majority of dietitians I know (which is quite a few given what I've been studying for years) feel very close to the same way as I do. I've been vegetarian for many years and recently been really cutting down on the animal products I have been eating.

I'm so thankful for vegans like you, and people like her. It is so important to critique these "influencers" promoting really unhealthy diets! I used to do the HCLF and was all bloated all the time. Now after incorporating more protein and fat, I look and feel so much better. I get that everyone is going to feel different on different diets, but balance is so important. Oh, and oil is not the devil!

Yes! I was terribly bloated. I was also stuffed but never satisfied. Don't know how I ever ate oil free fries, so dry and gross.
