@@smallbeginning2 maybe a little but heating destroys vitamin C, so unless they add it back I wouldn't expect jam to have much. It's also just mostly sugar. Nothing wrong with it but I wouldn't consider it even a serve of fruit! Though it's ok because every day doesn't have to be balanced, maybe on another day this person may eat 7 fruits so you can't judge from one day. Personally I think that's just not enough food for me, but if this person gets full very fast it might be hard to fit a lot of different foods in, so I understand the lack of fruits.

Deli meats that contain Phosphates and Phosphorus as a preservative has a correlation in kidney failure. It’s not bad. But it’s not great. And definitely not something to eat daily. Especially considering the sodium content in a 2 oz serving size. The average American consumes upwards of 3,000 milligrams of sodium per day. And if you don’t have low blood pressure you’ll want to keep it in range of 1,000-2,000 mg per day. Our kidneys can only handle so much salt.

Hi Abbey, downloaded your hunger crushing combo e-book and it’s great! Do you have advice for ND individuals who also struggle with ED’s and aren’t the best at recognizing portion size (a healthy portion feels HUGE for me and I can’t finish it all in one sitting) and may have sensory/ texture restrictions? Hi! I’m also ND and struggle a lot with nausea that makes eating enough hard. One thing that really helped me was making a healthy portion, eating as much as I can in the moment and then putting the rest in the fridge and turning on a timer for ~ 1 hour and eating the rest then. This might not work for you but I hope you find some solution, sending lots of good vibes 💕

Being obsessive over diet can get more unhealthy than eating a little sugar. I make my own hot chocolate with coco powder and add sugar myself, so I know exactly how much sugar goes in lol. It's ok, most people know they're just not bothered by it. Deli meats also have iron in them and protein, so they have useful things in them as well. Of course you shouldn't eat too much of them but that goes for everything (even water).

That's way too little food for me, and it was way too little food for me when I weighed 47kg (I was eating a lot more than that and not gaining weight). If you are young and you find that you can't eat very much, it may be worth talking to a doctor, because you may have hypothyroidism or something like that. Alternatively, it may be caused by previous dieting or not getting enough exercise. Unless you sit around on your bed all day, most people should be eating more than that.

"what I eat in a day" is not a reasonable thing to respond to with a "diet review" - it's not a diet, it's a one day sample. extrapolating it to make assumptions about days outside of the given data is part of diet culture because it pushes high-level monitoring and compliance models instead of dynamic decisions and human nutrition being bigger than any one day. when you're fighting super prevalent narratives around restriction, external criticism, self-criticism and constant self-assessment, things that might seem like constructive criticism tend not to land as intended.

Super healthy balanced each meal like this can still make someone gain weight of overall the amount of calories is too much for them and that can be the type of food or the size. I suggest trying a calorie tracker app to get a general idea of how many calories a day and a weight loss calculator on the internet you can find it which will give you depending on you how many calories will be needed for weight loss or maintenance. Just try and see what works for you everyone’s different - I have a super skinny model friend who eats McDonald everyday but she eats like once a day and she’s really tall. But if you eat like this and are happy just try reducing the portion size of you’re gaining weight or adding in more walking steps you got this ❤
@Diana-qp2rw
@Diana-qp2rw Ай бұрын
Weight loss and weight gain is not only about what you eat, but mostly about calories. Eating balanced, satisfying meals full of protein and veggies makes it easier to get into a calorie deficit, but depending on how much of it you eat and how much or little you lose you can still get into a calorie surplus and gain weight. Maybe you could just write down everything you eat for a few days to see what’s your problem. Maybe you’re using a lot of fat to cook? If so, see if you can reduce it. Or you snack mindlessly in between meals? If so, make sure your snacks are balanced and satiating, not too high in calories, and eaten more mindful and not just out of boredom.
