I mean, the brain alone already uses up around 20% of our daily energy intake... but if she's adamant about that 90% percent then I'm willing to believe that she might be an exception to that rule ;)

Also what most young women call "bloating" today is just normal stomach expansion from eating, i.e. not going to bed with the same flat stomach you woke up with. Thanks, Instagram, for another unrealistic expectation.

Me too. I'm 63 and have been fighting anorexia/bulimia for over 50 years. TRIGGER WARNING~SEXUAL ABUSE~ First time I was 9 actually. I was molested and raped by my brother from age 9 to 11 after I told him about our parent's friend who was molesting me from age 6. It's hard isn't it? I was in my 30s before I could name my anorexia. Good luck Love. I wish you success in your winnings and no self hatred if you trip occasionally. Forgive yourself. Kelly Barry I agree... I think there is a HUGE difference between bloating and being full IMO. I suffer from very bad lactose intolerance so bloating to me is when I would consume dairy, I would bloat to look six months pregnant. When I eat a normal meal, my stomach expands but doesn’t retain a ton of water and become that huge

I’m so sick of people pretending they know everything about nutrition and the anatomy of the body. Like just say you’re on a diet. Don’t lie to your audience like the main people on KZbin or who watch this woman’s vids are probably impressionable teens or preteens. Like they need proper roll models like Abby and unnatural vegan. When your starting puberty you’re body needs proper nutrition. Not this fake don’t eat these foods together type stuff.

YES Shannon I agree, because I am sick of it too-its everywhere, not just in the KZbin influencer world, but also I was shocked I met license registered dieticians that also have an agenda and pedal either as specific diet fits all or food combination in one-to-one meetings. Abbey is the Real Deal - she gives facts, common sense and really is there to serve everyone, giving us a variety of balanced diet. I think teaching pre-teens and teens, how to use their judgement, discern and follow their guts so to speak in these matters is important, there will always be misinformation out there.

Unnatural vegan feeds supplements to her babies
@olive996
@olive996 5 жыл бұрын
I would hope so, @girlwhoseeks. Vegan diets need some supplements anyway. Vegan diets for little picky eaters probably need more. Please say you aren't one of these people who think supplements are somehow dangerous? There's not enough evidence to back up that claim, but there is evidence that most people, regardless of diet, are somewhat deficient in some key essential nutrients. I personally think everyone should supplement. It's difficult to get everything you need without overeating, conversion rates may be different, and much of the food you buy is artificially fortified anyway.

So did I. Biology was a real interest of mine as a kid. Wanted to be some sort of doctor at one point. But I don't remember most of it. And a lot of kids pay little attention to subjects that don't interest them. All most people remember of diet or nutrition is the food pyramid, nothing about digestion rates, antinutrients, or food combination. And most people with orthorexia believe that government guidelines are either wrong or intentionally lying to us. It's a pretty common conspiracy theory.

So much bio individuality how can we expect to give the right advice without blood panels, food sensitivity tests and genetic testing on top of trial and error over time. These quick fix reset things just aren’t the way.

Blaming them for you feeling self conscious isn’t their fault that’s something that’s your own personal problem! U don’t know them so to say they’re something they’re not is kinda strange. Because they eat certain foods that make them feel good and enjoy eating them a certain way, that does not mean at all that she’s creating a bad image for girls... that’s pretty silly to say. Everyone’s different. If you don’t like it simply don’t do it, no reason to hate on someone for what they eat.

Cause that’s what they’re into. Maggie even said that she was taking the summer to focus on her health. Also, assuming you know everything someone does in 24 hours after watching a 15 minute edited video is ludicrous. She also did sports illustrated, bikinis stuff, Kiths... They’re just doing what they’re into and there’s nothing wrong with it. The negativity people have to deal with just for trying to live their best lives is rediculous.

If you don’t like what Maggie and Emma are doing then don’t follow them. Also, there’s a whole lot that the girls do in a day that isn’t on camera. Izzy Paradis regardless of if you eat meat or not you should supplement vitamin b12! I take a bcomplex and vitamin d3 supplement (the only supplements I take) and I think everyone should because most of us don’t get enough sun and unless I wanna drink unfiltered lake water I know I’m not getting enough b12 meat is artificially supplemented with b12 it doesn’t naturally occur in animal products (or at least not enough to meet you daily requirements) and b12 is poorly absorbed by the body so I like to take it safe and supplement it with a vitamin

Too many girls out here are just crazy about protein shakes all day long.

depending on your height and weight 100 grams really aren't that much? I am vegetarian and avoid most dairy products because i couldn't digest them if my life depended on it lmao but I still get about 100-110 grams of protein. 90 of these are from natural sources like beans, tofu, broccoli, nut butters, etc! The rest is one scoop of unflavoured and unsweetened protein powder a day BECAUSE I don't eat meat, fish or much dairy. Everyone gets about 100 grams of Protein when eating meat/fish so i don't see the problem. Yes there's way too much hype about the amount you need but 100 grams is a good amount for lifting heavy weights 6x/week.

These types of people give health coaches such a bad name. I am a certified health coach through the institute for integrative nutrition and we ARE NOT taught to prescribe any specific nutritional information or diet. While we are educated on a variety of nutritional information we are in no way told to push any specific form of eating (aside from eating in a way that is mindful, balanced and intuitive) In fact we are encouraged to act as a liaison between an individual’s healthcare team. For example if a person is diabetic and is placed on a diet by their physician or dietician we can work with them to develop habits to incorporate these new foods, navigate the grocery store in a new way or perhaps come up with a meal prepping schedule. We support and guide people through lifestyle changes and help them break through and build habits that are sustainable and realistic. Some people just like to blur the lines and make us all look crazy and irresponsible.

Oh god, I found that one. I am really obese (which is I am trying to pick some healthy habits on channels like this one) and I am able to eat a whole bar of chocolate in one sitting anytime I am stressed - which is all the time these days. I love food, especially sweet food. And I do eat at fast foods more often then I should. That being said, I felt physically sick just looking at her eating 7 donuts just for breakfast, and that was just the beginning. I don't understand how was she able to eat that dinner after everything she ate during the day. That goes beyond me. Absolutely unbelievable. Ewwww... I am still sick. I would hope she is faking it but I am afraid she isn't. :(

I do not generally comment of videos, but as soon as I started watching this I immediately thought back to my experience in high school when I found out I had IBS. My doctor was convinced that the food combing diet would work wonders for me! I ate this way for 30 days, on top of actually eating both gluten free and dairy free cause I did have some sensitivities to those food groups. I was actually in worse shape after those 30 days, having no energy, losing a lot of weight, and spent most of the time in bed. Not to mention she had me on 27 “all-natural” pills/supplements to help heal my digestive tract which I had to take every day! I developed more symptoms then before and I did not go back to that doctor. I am so thankful for people like @abbeysharp who bring awareness to these different approaches to diet that work and also to those that do not work!

Yeah most doctors don't know anything about nutrition. I don't understand why a lot of doctors and nurses think they are qualified to give out nutritional advice, when they have only done the most basic nutrition course in med school. When I was doing my degree in Health and Nutrition, we had a crossover class with the nurse students and even though none of them had had any nutritional courses, they all thought they were equally qualified in nutrition as we were! Hell my mum is a nurse and sometimes she will lecture me on nutrition

Currently in recovery from an eating disorder and recently stumbled across Kenzie's diet. I've been spending hours researching the foods I should and shouldn't eat together, panicking because I've been eating the "wrong" food combinations. This has caused me to relapse and restrict soooo many foods all over again. So I'm absolutely stoked that you provided this video. I feel like I can get back into my recovery and continue to eat without guilt and stress. Thank you so much.

So glad you reviewed this. I think the success is because when you food combine you gave to stick to healthy whole foods for the most part. The women who practice this are also in their early twenties, which when I was 22 years old I could lose weight in two seconds as well. Talk to me when you hit forty ladies.

I agree up until the 22 age point. Im 21 and it really depends on your body composition and its metabolism. I had about 3 months of grinding, calorie and macro counting, going to the gym 4 times a week just to lose 10 pounds. Last months i had exams and i still had an okay nutrition, but did not have time for the gym. Boom, 5 pounds back
