That was an amazing video. Always enjoy seeing BDog play and 5'9" was a welcome guest to the channel. 2023 is going to be a great year if golf I think.....once the snow clears

Very nice video. I, like Bdog use my "3wood" off the tee and it's going longer than my slice driver...can't wait to get a lesson for that but it feels good to see I am not alone haha. Played my best golf when I left the driver at home with a 90. Will break that barrier on my 3rd season of golf!💪waddachallenge!

Matt, Really like the ending thyme song at the end of your videos. Catchy tune (wonder what the name of the song is). Distracting Paige was nice but became distracting. BDog needs more lessons or just needs to play more golf. Great job on the video. Love the channel!

BDog needs a couple tips with his putting setup and to get out of his own head. His striking is unreal with the irons and 5 wood - the wedge distance control is key

I’ve been thinking about the “big ball” sports, and if Bdog has played basketball there may be a part of that game that helps the golf game tremendously, and that’s the free throw. Preshot routine is everything when you’re trying to sink a 15 foot set shot with hundreds of people screaming at you from the bleachers and waving their arm behind the backboard. The routine can really help to block out the distractions.

So, one guy is a true 15 handicap, the other one is a sandbagger . . . LOL Being a 16 handicap I really loved this video. I found myself trying to imagine what I might have done for shots as I watched them hit theirs. I would be BDog in my little group. I average 270 with driver and my good shots can be really good, but my bad ones are very penalizing. I almost always have a few holes that are "card-breakers." If I could make my bad shots be like 5'9" I could lower my handicap by 3-4 strokes in no time!
@GolfSidekick
@GolfSidekick Жыл бұрын
It's about minimizing the impact of the bad shots. 5' 9" didn't hit a driver out of the middle all day and scored well

last year i played with two lads after 10 years without a game. one hit 90 one 97. i had to walk off on the 12th due to bad back. i could barely hit a ball. but with wedges it was okay. inside 120 yards i barely missed a green on approach and hardly wasted a chip. 3 putted on the 1st. mainly chipped in and sank a putt in one with missed greens. two putted most greens i hit. i was thinking if i could strike a ball i'd be well under the lads i played with as was much tidier at the money end. i've never actually broke 90 ever. seeing guys like bdog made me think how low i would be hitting if i could use the longer clubs lol. back is fixed and never felt anything at the range for first time last weekend. but stuggling with ball striking the longer clubs still. i'm booking lessons. i'm sure i can become a good solid player with some coaching.

Looking at his bad shots I wonder if 59's clubs are the right length for him? Also is he lifting his body a bit through the swing?

Unsure Tony mon, i have no idea about the swing but just working with what we got. I just saw chong for three days and the level of knowledge he had for the swing makes me feel like a midget of golf. Not bad for a once every month golf swing for the five-nine

BDOG's uncanny distance is due to the Vibranium (the stuff Captain America's shield is made of) in the cover of that Wakanda Forever golf ball. It's certainly not legal... but it may not be illegal either... just ultra top secret.

If he can't hit a driver but he can hit a 5 wood 235.. why don't you get a 3 wood an just shorten the shaft an inch so they're the same length an just hit the 3 wood 255-265? I got SLDR 3 n 5 wood an the heads look identical to me to the point I have to check the number on the bottom to make sure i'm hitting the right one.
