Thanks for the valuable and informative videos you are posting in logistics. Just a small correction, the standard dimensions order is (Length x Width x Height), when someone sees the numbers, he would assume they are in this order.

The video is very good done and high quality performance. However, I should say that the explanation comparing LCL x FCL doesn't match at all. There many reasons to refute your comments for exemplifying we have: Majority the LCL volume running as LCL is around 7cbm. THC origin and CFS are part of the costs for sure, but depending on the incoterm it can not be added to the ocean freight, FOB for example where the consignee pays pays only o/f plus local destinations charge. In summary, unless to intend waste of money, noone in would pay for a whole container whether might pay for a small part of one on terms of cost.

i'm a little bit confused bc i don't understand why in lcl cost calculation local charges at destination port is included. Can somebody explain?

Another important aspect is that 25f trucking containers with feet do NOT go on ships. So if you have a FCL 25f that you are planning to ship. The harbor will need to move the content from the 25f (land container) to a 20f or 40f (sea container). Obviously not cost effective.

25ton is acceptable, but it maybe differ from the countries?
@Lobos2223 жыл бұрын
@@logisticsyoutuberiinosan2358 No, not 25 ton (weigh) container. I am talking about 25 feet container. 7,6Loadingmeters.
