I'm a Jamaican that was raised in the US & is now in the process of migrating from the US to the UK & I just want to say to those reading this comment the UK is better in everyway that's important. Better healthcare, better food standards, better education system, far better social programs, safer (no guns), better workers rights, easier to travel to other popular destinations etc. If you have a family (especially with kids), if you love to travel, or you're a working class or middle class person the UK is better in everyway. If you want to be a hollywood movie star or only care about making money & nothing else then the US would be more for you

@@ikechukwuobioha4052 The healthcare system, food standards, & education system are better, it's generally safer out in public & on the roads, overall cost of living is lower, better social programs, better workers rights & more time off, long maternal/paternal leave, one of the best locations to have as a base for traveling to other popular places in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, better road infrastructre as well. These are all facts. The US beats the UK in more job opportunities (it's a much larger country), more diverse climates, more space & larger homes (isn't something that interests me), & slighty higher wages (depending on the job)

@@Lando-kx6soYou got some valid points there though, but still your personal opinion though, health care, you can say the UK has an edge, but saying that UK is better than the US in Education,I strongly disagree on that ..... The US , has one of the best Educational, and research institutions in the World that the UK can only dream of...... And when it comes to safety the UK has an edge ,but the safety thing is not a sure thing in the UK, in the UK there are many places in London we hear of violence on a steady basis, killings, stabbings and all, but of course the BBC will not report that , But overall I will prefer the US and UK over other European Countries and Asian Countries any day anytime.. . Both countries have their Good and Bad... . You can't have it all anywhere on Earth..

@@ikechukwuobioha4052 education system from grade school in the UK has the US beat hands down. When you get to university it's more or less the same however the US has more options for schools since it's a much larger country. Also London IS NOT all of the UK.

Guys, let's clarify one thing. Minimum wage in the US is mostly for unskilled workers. No college graduates or a degree holders gets paid minimum age in the US. No professionals get paid minimum wage. I disagree with the lady. Marketing managers earn upwards of 75k and more. Account managers earned way more than 95 k or 130k and above. So Techs don't even come close to many fields when it come to earnings. 70k is like an entry level salary. Pharmaceutical sales make upwards of 90k 150k. If you in any te hnical sales, your staring salary is in upwards of 100k/yr and higher.

I'm dropping this comment after seeing the first 5 mins of this wonderful video, I think I like the idea behind the video, but just to correct something, Nigeria is bigger than Texas, about 36% bigger, this is as opposed to the calculation NENYE gave where she said Texas is 3 times the size of Nigeria. In addition to that on health care am Nigerian and staff of the NHS, when we talk of health subcharge, it's only for non residents who are not working in the NHS mostly students, and non health care workers who are moving into the UK, as a citizen, Permanent resident and there families don't pay health subcharge, same with NHS workers with Bio metric resident permit and there families don't pay, same with students working with the NHS even as low as health care assistants don't pay health subcharge... Only students not working with NHS, non permanent Residents not working with NHS pays for it, you renew it every 3years until you get your PR, which after five years you have lived here for non students, and for students you start counting from the day you finished your studies and get your BRP (Biometric Resident Permit). Even Visitors with any sort of 'emergency' for a person with a visiting visa, example a visitor had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital, the patient is taking to the emergency room resuscitated and have a cardiac CT scan, then the found out maybe some of the arteries are blocked then the patient is rushed to the Cath lab unit for interventional PPCI procedure, and after that the visitor recovers and discharged, here in the UK the visitor will pay absolutely nothing FREE).I paid £650 for my sister coming here for master's last week, now this covers all her health care for next 3years, she will have to pay another one in the next 3years until she becomes a permanent Resident because she's entitled to live for 2years here until she gets a job post graduation, On that same health subcharge, let say my sister came to the UK to study, she's going for a masters in Data science , she came into the UK, while as a student she gets a job with the NHS or any big private health care delivery in the UK, she will file to the UK government and the health subcharge she payed prior before coming to the UK will payed back to her untaxed. I was in the hospital for more than 1week last month and I payed nothing, with loads of intervention..., I have worked in a hospital were we specialize in cardiac and lungs, we do loads of heart and lungs transplant, you pay nothing in the UK, Life is far more easier here. #please do mind my typographical errors,*

It’s neither here nor there, but a few things that I like about the uk 🇬🇧 over the USA 🇺🇸 are: 1. Free healthcare in the uk 🇬🇧 👏 2. You don’t have to necessarily have a car in many uk 🇬🇧 regions As per usa 🇺🇸 I like; 1. Housing is somewhat cheaper & better quality, you get more for the amount you pay for housing. The houses and apartments in USA 🇺🇸 are bigger and better. 2. Socially there are more things to do in USA 🇺🇸, the uk 🇬🇧 is socially boring for adults. Overall, you can live a better life in uk 🇬🇧 & USA 🇺🇸 when you earn well in these countries. It all depends on what you make of where you are.

@Michael P the problem with the US is it will not accept graduates from other countries to use their degrees in getting jobs there. For instance someone with a Marketing diploma from any African country will not use that diploma to get a job in the US. The USA does not do Visa sponsored jobs like the UK. There's this green lottery card the US offers but most people never get it from African countries. They cut certain African countries out and most people who get it are from Iran, Bangladesh you know those countries where english is not spoken at all. UK is better than the US in my opinion even though I don't live in the UK

@@TochiEsther Ok.Maternity leave is atrocious in the US. It is the only country in the western world which doesn't offer statutory maternity leave and most are only entitled to it 6 weeks unpaid. Another glaring difference as well which ties in with the health expense is that even if you have insurance cover with paying up to $300 a month, you could still be left with a $1k dollar bill and that is supposedly a not bad in American terms...In your next video a comparison between giving birth and leave quotas in US vs UK would be a good topic to discuss as that would help many who have relocation dreams back in Nigeria

@@2LETLIVE my points were initially just an addendum to your original comment nothing more or less but it sounds like you are bragging? Anyway Size really doesn’t matter because it is about quality not quantity. The US may be bigger but the quality of life for most is extremely poor with inadequate health care packages, inadequate maternity and vacation leave, poor public transport systems, wooden houses, more derelict city and town areas, poor gun controls, high murder rates, poor banking systems (surprised people still write and cash cheques in the US), poor food options with the FDA allowing bleached chicken, bleached eggs which need to be refrigerated and things like rubber, insects, rat shit etc allowed to enter into the food chain. Again it is about quality not quantity. At least in Canada they can look after their population and no the US could not annexe the country even if they wanted too. However America is still one of the greatest countries in the world. It used to be my first choice of destination for vacationing but the gun thing has put me off. The last time I was there, a TJMaxx store I was shopping in the day before was shot up randomly the next day. Now I just enjoy America via Social media lol

Dear poster, you can as well hold on from processing the children visa and do that of your husband and yourself. You can always process their visa at a later time, this will reduce the initial cost and do for them when you are settled and all. But if you are okay with doing for everyone at once and you are sure you will come within the stipulated entry date to pick them because failure to enter the country at the specified period would mean a reapplication at an extra cost. You can go ahead with your plan. I hope this helps

One correction there, Nenye. Texas is not bigger than Nigeria. Do not come to the UK. We are minimalists. We wash plates and don't rinse it cos we need to save on water. Our houses are small because we need to save on gas, bigger houses will require more gas for heating. Our cars are small too... We need to save on the petrol. Likewise our roads, very narrow. the road sweepers have less space to sweep. Go to the USA. But be careful with the guns. You can go bankrupt for having a fractured bone. Be ready to learn to drive and own a car because the transportation system is not accessible everywhere.

In a nutshell...Yes the houses are small but big houses are readily available but be prepared when those heating bills come. My Dad bought a big old house without central heating in London when he first arrived a few decades back and I remember not being able to enter into certain rooms during the winter because the were too cold. Also most (over 90%) of houses in the US are made mostly of wood and therefore one hurricane or fire away from total destruction. Wood is cheaper than brick and mortar and land is immense and affordable (na Island we dey for UK) hence the reason why bigger houses in the US are readily available, cheaper and larger.

Yes she's right, two bedrooms, $2,000 and up depending on where you live, these new high raises are very expensive in New York State, don't even talk about the NYC.

@@Nmasichiofficial, That's a mortgage to me, but I know those apartments are big. I would never pay that for an apartment. That's what you would pay in the suburbs of NY where I live to rent a house.

@Nmasichiofficial 2 жыл бұрын
@@eleisha5054 Neither would I. Because instead of paying that for an apartment just use it to pay for your mortgage 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. If an apartment is more than $1500 I rather buy a house because that’s the most I can pay. But I guess different strokes for different folks.

People really need to think deeply before going to the US. That country is a mess to be honest

Thank you . Jesus! it’s Really messy! I was in uk this last summer. And with everything I experienced, I sincerely can’t wait to move to the uk. There’s this special peace that you will experience while away from the usa . Like this country is toxic , not safe, cost of living is freaking high, yet companies are not increasing pays, A trip to the gas station is a special prayer point to make it safe back home. It’s getting out of hands Cos you gotta stay woke and watchful from the bad guys. Mehn, too much . I also watched a KZbin video where tochi and nanelle brought a lot of new people that just migrated to the uk on there channel to speak about how much they have saved . Some already saved 6k, 4, in 4 months in the uk.17k in 11 months and so on. That can never happen in the usa . Cos your 1st month , u have to save for a car in other to hunt for a job. Then getting the job might be an hassle coz of the racism and discriminatory attitude all this Americans r used to. 1st pay check will not even cover the new immigrants house rent. I’v been in the usa for over 10years, I only visit uk as a teen in the past ,And I was there for 3 month for this last summe holiday . I can proudly say Uk is home for me . 😂

@@essien-nkereuwemoluwakemi6801 unfortunately,America doesn’t have any safe neighborhood ,safe state or city. God is our protection . This country doesn’t know good , rich, luxury or posh area . Lol! And this is the main reason they can’t control the gun violence. Innocent people need it for there family and self protection. Rich and safe neighborhoods r always the target as well. I was traumatized few days ago! Just 3 days ago , I was followed into my neighborhood from the gas station. Unfortunately ,this is our daily life in the USA. Everybody is a target now . we all live in fear and always on guard . You can’t even seat close to an entryway or back the entry way in a resturant. Everybody wanna have a clear view of the entryway . Biko! which kind thing is that. gas stations isn’t safe, grocery store too !you gotta look and watch, parking Lot too , you dare not park beside an huge SUV . Kidnapping and human trafficking don pass nija own. May God keep protecting everyone home and abroad .

You guys always complaining about taxes don’t countries in Africa pay taxes. Taxes is necessary for infrastructure etc that keep the economy working and moving. It’s not that big of a deal in the US. And there is all sort of free things for the underprivileged to get(MediCal, housing, food). Most people living on the streets may be getting government assistance also but choose to do whatever with their money
