I used Kratom to get off street opiates. I was on a narcotic schedule for severe pain, for years, before my doctor left my clinic, without a taper, referral, or leaving as much as a pamphlet. I’d never have done anything desperate, if I had known methadone clinics routinely treat pain patients, not just people who addictions. I thought it would be a stain on my medical record and I would be in bed for years, like I was before I was put on a schedule, so I ended up with an actual substance use disorder. Under-treating pain is as likely to cause addiction as under-treating, because people who can’t function will take things they can’t tell the dose of. This is according to a government website (not allowed to cite on YT, but there are a couple major sites that are easy to search). I didn’t know about fentanyl, then…it hit the news in 2016. Also, 75% of people with Substance Use Disorders were first prescribed opiates by prescription, so it’s not all crazy partiers who have these disorders. Unless people have been there, they don’t know.

Watch out. 7 0H Mitragynine, which is more concentrated, and is no joke. Dont use that regularly. Stick to the powders. The withdrawal from either is excruciating, and is not quick and easy.

One of the biggest problems if you go to the Dr and say I need pain meds they treat you like a criminal heroin addict even if it's legit I have had 7 back surgeries and will need at least 2 more .

I was referred to a pain clinic cuz I have back issues that will only get worse n its not fixable so I told them in the past I used methadone b4 I knew about pain clinics n I read the dr.s notes n he said I'm an drug addict n thats y he won't ever prescribe me pain pills.. he told me that too saying he won't treat me n to go to another dr... n he gave me a paper with a list of pain Dr's n at the top of the paper said " alternative medicine " so I'm assuming they don't treat with pain pills too. So I asked to change Dr's n the new dr. Said he also won't prescribe me any opiates n agrees with the 1st dr. Saying he read his notes so is there any online Dr's that r legit? I'm in Pennsylvania n everytime o called a dr. I took norco for years for adhesive Arachnoiditis. Key is to take kratom smallest dose possible when coming off Norco. I suffer from the suicide disease adhesive Arachnoiditis. No withdrawls with using kratom to come off the norco. As all pain patients were cut off their pain meds in 2016. I used kratom and tapered off that and too a great cellular supplement that made my pain disapeer in 2 yrs. Moved to a new climate and went off the supplement and pain is back. Im back on pressed kratom and very impressed with one pill. But don’t go nuts with the kratom . Start very little. Less is more.

It took several months of daily kratom use before I really noticed my dependence on it, but once I was in it, it was way harder to quit than weed for me. I never had any type of physical withdrawal effects quitting weed, and mostly just felt very bored and couldn't sleep great for a few nights. But different drugs affect different folks differently.

My experience with the whole “get with your doctor,” has never worked. My wife suffers with chronic back pain and wants to eventually get off of prescription painkillers. She’s mentioned that to her doctor and his answer was “I don’t want to rock the boat,” and “perhaps we can up your dosage.” Also mentioned using methadone to get off of them. Methadone is more addictive than opiates, and for an educated doctor to suggest that as an effective treatment is ridiculous. In my opinion most doctors suck, but it’s not their fault. They’re given a very generic toolbox to use and are quite literally at big Pharmas mercy. Our healthcare system is ran by greedy scum that only care about profits. I’m f$&@ing tired of it, personally. Something has to change.

Now, there’s many that need pain medication and more n more every day doctors are refusing to help them mostly bc they abused prescriptions in the past n are scared to loose their ability to write scripts! My son has metal plates in his body and was taking 5 mg hydrocodone’s three times a day for pain. He had a dentist appointment and when he got home his wife picked the bag up off the counter and it had a prescription for three hydrocodone pills in it and to help him out while he was asleep went and had it filled. Now his doctor said because A prescription was filled he can no longer write his little 5 mg tablets for his lifelong pain! The doctor left him to have withdrawals and he now takes Kratom as his only relief! They absolutely don’t look at you as humans!

@@JayHarrisGuitarLessons. I second this assertion. I went to the ER for chest pain and the doctor did a drug SCREENING that showed a presumptive positive for meth. I asked him to do more testing, because I didn’t use meth. He ran the same screening again and said I was lying. He actually said if you do a screening twice, it’s 95% accurate. I now know this is untrue. I couldn’t get help with chronic pain again, for years. I now take Suboxone. They test me every month and I get a presumptive positive for meth over a third of the time, but they do a laboratory analysis of the specific substances in my urine and it’s Sudafed and/or bronkaid, My doctor is not even concerned, when this happens and he’s not a harm reduction practitioner…patients must be completely sober. I learned in graduate addiction pharmacology that about 30% of presumptive positives for meth are false positives. I agree…they train doctors to do little more than write scripts. When the political tides shift, they write scripts for anti-seizures, antidepressants, etc., off label, instead of opioids. I couldn’t even read on anti-seizure medication! All I have is my mind, so that is not an option. I taught Special Education diversion, with at-risk students. In one course I took to prepare for that, I read that anti-seizure medication was associated with a 5% loss of IQ, per year, in children. From my experience, it doesn’t help, at least some, adults out in that area, either. It’s a shame when medication is prescribed for profit, rather than in the best interests of the patient. I’m glad your wife found relief from kratom. It has helped me, as well, in the past. I would choose it over Suboxone, but it’s difficult to afford and prepare, in its less expensive form…particularly as I don’t tolerate the taste. Eggnog is an extremely effective at disguising kratom leaf, but not the low-fat kind. It’s the milkfat that encapsulates the bits of leaf. Not so, for regular whole milk, in my experience!

I haven’t taken an full agonist opiates in years. I do like kratom for past injuries and used to only take red kratom but while the red vein has more painkilling properties it only lasts 3-4hrs while greens last 5-6hours and whites generally last 7-8hrs in my experience so I can take a green or white and sleep good through the night but if only taking reds I may wake up in the early hours of the morning or even 3-4am with restless legs

The RLS for me intensifies through out the night, starts in the legs and spreads through out my entire body. I'm currently tappering down and notice the pains Kratom was making, as well as how much numbing kratom does.

That's weird, guess it depends where u bought yours, do you use the powder pure? Cu I feel like kratom lasts well if you take the raw powder of caps, thats how I do it and I can do at least 6hrs with 1 dose. I'd suggest you find a better brand/seller. To my feeling the best strains are red strains that have that light/warm green color. U have also brownish powder which tastes different, and that never did it for me. Reds are best by far best imo, especially for sleep. Sometimes id even get too much energy from it, for me it doesn't work like a sleeping pill unless im really tired or take (too) much. you live in Europe? There are also mixes u can buy "blends" of green white & red togethere, often called "Gold". I do know a few great sellers & strains sold in EU but would be harder if you live like in the US, tho there are great suppliers there too.

Ive been using hydrocodone for 18 years. Ive discovered that the kratom is working much better for pain management than the opiates. Ive never been addicted to opiates but i find that they just dont help my pain much anymore. The kratom seems to last about 6 hrs. and I only take 2 chewables in the morning. Ill treat the kratom the same as i treated the opiate and only use the lowest dose.

You're not feeling it anymore because your body built a tolerance. if you take hydrocodone for 18 years, my friend you are addicted whether you like it or not. My son, who had broken his ankle and had pins and screws put in it discovered its use from a guy that had been in a bad car accident. My son noticed his pain relief and told me how much pain was gone with no effects. Upon my own research then, that a small amount has different effects than a larger amount but just enough nails the pain relief. 6, 600mg tablets dropped pain 2 to 3 points in under 15 minutes usually. No other effects whatsoever except my knees werent killing me. Since the successes with kratom, Ive found steady use of turmeric, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, garlic powder, ginger, and honey and more has done far more for reducing inflammation and pain than the hdc or kratom. Red vein Maeng da kratom worked better than green or white veins.

This time i imported from Indo, I can clearly feel the difference. White hits very strong, I even get faster heart rate. Red i don’t feel any “high” kind of effect, but makes me feel sleepy. @JustAGuyVideoTapingCatskratom gives me way more euphoria than any pain pill i’ve ever taken or even when i’ve smoked fentanyl a few times. I nodded out on the fentanyl and everything but no euphoria. I can take a small dose of kratom and get an energy boost while euphoric and a nice body high. Opioids never did for me what kratom has. It’s just unnecessary to put your body through opiate withdrawals. They’re so unnecessarily physically addictive compared to the high. I had more trouble coming off amphetamines and methamphetamine

I was taking lexapro and kratom . Eventually I couldn’t get my lexapro anymore and only take kratom . White kratom does it all for me ,helps with mood and all . No need for lexapro anymore . But ,I do have a kratom dependency and have just accepted it . I’m in the works of making a taper plan .

I've done my fair share of both, and for me (because everyone's reaction to chemicals can vary) they are almost interchangeable at the right dose. If you get the kratom dosage just right, I literally wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Obviously the prescription opioids are going to be perfectly measurable every time, and kratom is easy to mess up. Consistency is the biggest variable for me, and that's the gamble. That being said, kratom is harder for me to kick than hydrocodone ever was, but I think it's a mental thing moreso than a physical thing.

You use cold water to bring the hydrocodone into the water solution. The acetomenaphine settles to the bottom and then you filter the powder out and drink the water! It does waste some hydrocodone but you still wash a lot of the Tylenol out. Your welcome

How much kratom were you using? I use the powder and use like a couple teaspoons a day. Gives me energy. Use it as a preworkout and like if I’m working on a big project. I was introduced to it at a local tea shop 😂 been using it for like a year now and I’ve only recently found out that it can be addictive. Never noticed anything when I wouldn’t use it for a few days. But now I’m kinda getting worried about stopping it 😂 do you know of any negative health effects? I can’t find anything about it. Sorry for the long post.

Is it only red kratom that cause withdrawal or do green and white strains do the same?

Hi Eric, I hope youu see this. I am newly diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis which causes severe chronic pain. I have been seeking for something beneficial to help with my pain so I can function like a normal person. Is this legal to buy and where can I buy this to try? Also, I go through pain management to get one oxycodone per day which isn't enough to help and I have to have a drug screen for that every 3 months. Will this show up on a drug screen? It depends on how many panels your state or employer uses and which substances are tested for. It’s legal in the U.S. At least, in most states. I’m not sure if there are still bans in effect anywhere. It’s all over the internet and in head shops and adult video/novelty stores. However, most store brands are a ripoff and are mixed with “proprietary herbs” and who knows what. Definitely do your research, before buying and dosing. I had to take a lot, at first, but I took it to get off high dose opiates, as well as for pain. It was a lifesaver, for me!

I’m not addict also. I can take or leave cocaine. Don’t ever visit Medellin Colombia because you’ll never leave. The cocaine is super pure and strong. I only like coke when I’m drunk and partying. My drug of choice is hydrocodone. I use to take oxycodone but that would make me nod off while I was driving. Super scary. Anyways my doctors won’t give me hydrocodone in the USA so I had to find it in Colombia. You can buy it legally over the counter in a pharmacy without a prescription. I’m not using this as an excuse but I have bulging herniated discs in my lower back. It’s super painful

For me red and white kratom got me off a tianeptine addiction mind you I was addicted to oxy and fynt way before that but tianeptine those withdrawal symptoms were the most trauma inducing horrific thing I ever felt that crap is pure evil had to have one every 2 hours or get horrifically sick they used to sell it in gas stations so be aware and do your research before you take anything that being said kratom literally saved my life I don't use it anymore but it did save me from the worst addiction I ever had.

i had the best and most successful decade of my life when i was prescribed full antagonist opioid medications .. then the “we’re from the government and we’re here to help” began is 2016 with the cdc guidelines headed by the organization PROP and andrew kolodny .. since kolodnys cdc guidelines in 2016 the od’s skyrocketed to over 100k/year … opioid medications are nearly impossible to get, millions are suffering and hundreds of thousands are dying by having to get illicit pain medications off the streets… thank you andrew kolodny. 😘

Don't be scared. Use this to get off the methadone. Methadone is worse. It is very mild and you can't od. Taper off the methadone. Then taper off the kratom.

If u take 4-6g youll definitely feel it. And i feel kratom within 2min vs 10-30min from hydros. Get the same good feeling in my chest from all opiates and kratom...red vein supposed to be more sedative, and white a stimulant. To me, kratom is kratom. Red, green, white, yellow/gold, you dont really feel any difference. Some brands make my eyes feel like dizzy or kinda lagging behind. If you get thst, switch brands. Third eye kratom is top shelf.

Fresh Maeng da did more pain relief than hydro from dentist. However those are prob the lowest strength meds. Have noticed a hangover or pain surge when come down after a few G’s of Krat. So it’s not a cure all but def if you have like a injury or feel lethargic.

2005 I had severe never damage in both arms, could not move my wrists or fingers. I had a history of using Watsons but only took massive 3 or 4 a day like this guy to get through work. In the throws of my disability i decided to switch to Norco and ended up doing 30 a day (the guys at SOS called me a lightweight). Maxed out all of my credit cards to buy them from Florida "online pharmacies." When I finally ran out of credit ($35k) I decided to get clean and declare bankruptcy. Spent the summer of 2006 on my couch unable to eat or sleep. The chirping of the birds and crickets drove me insane. After I got clean I finally got approved for Suboxone (waiting list was 9 months back then). Tried them for a few months but they did nothing. Then I found kratom. Absolute lifesaver. Sometimes I would Jones for it if I didn't have any but it's nothing like being dope sick, say just not for me. I've been using on and off since then and in the last coupe of years have been bringing my intake down. It's way better than drinking every morning that's for sure. I take half a gram a few times a day and that does the trick. I still sometimes take some Valerian to get decent sleep but otherwise I've been good. Always interesting to hear other people's stories.

I wanna stop tramadol too . I ordered 100grams… am ok 400mg tramadol daily now , I was at 500 and then taper to 400mg now … my Kratom arrives next week my plan to to try to tapper to 300mg by next week and then stop cold turkey .. yup I’ll start taking 2-4g morning afternoon and evening, I heard it’ll help with my withdrawals, am preparing myself with some vitamins B, C I heard it’s good too … am confused can I take ibruprofen in case of the chills / or some loperamide(Imodium) for the tummy cramps… I heard if you overdose vitamin c and B or take 15 2mg loperamide pills your withdrawals will be minimum too 🤷🏽‍♂️ , I just want to becareful mixing kratom , ibuprofen, loperamide is that ok ? I used to get codeine tablets from Canada when we were allowed to bring over certain amounts. I would use cold water extraction to reduce a couple hundred tablets down to 100 ml of strait, Crystal clear codeine water. That was the worst addiction I have ever had, even worse than heroin by far. The only thing comparable was the time years ago that I grew my own poppys and cooked down the pods into a tar(Which I found out later on was basically codeine)

I'm 26, have Ankylosing Spondylitis along with other arthritis along my entire spine as well with other things like fibromyalgia. Last week the AS spread to my right knee, and now my right leg, knee, and foot is in horrific pain constantly. I'm in the same boat I'm on 10 MG of oxy and iv been on it for 9years. It's sucks I don't wish my pain on my worst enemy. Recently my doctor told me that she wants to take me off the oxy. I'm dreading it because I'm in pain with the oxy I can only imagine off them it scares the living shift out of me. I have recently started kratom to try and start the process of what seems to be inevitable. It's extremely potent. Many people have adverse issues with the shots because they don't bother reading that the bottle isn't one single dose. It's very easy to abuse the concentrates. I take kratom for pain relief and the powder works fine. No need to get caught up in the extract shots mess

Withdrawal from kratom is a fkning nightmare I've never done opiates tha fully but I had to stop using kratom because I was using like 2 Oz a day and was doing it more and more so I stopped cold turkey and for about a week I was sick feeling sweaty high anxiety, felt like shit the restless legs at night was covering my entire body all night my entire body had that restless leg feeling for about a week until it finally stopped and my tolerance dropped back to normal so kratom can be a fine line, I still drink it every day but I don't cross a certain amount

Hey just wanted to pop in and say that this guy is probably pretty heavy compared to myself (130lbs) so if you're a bit lighter like me do NOT start at a 2 gram dose. You have to be very careful with dosage because, while it most likely won't kill you, it can sure make you extremely nauseated and you may vomit profusely if you take too much. Luckily that's all you have to worry about with kratom. Again, start low and go slow. You'll eventually find the sweet spot, and it can be a very useful tool to use on an infrequent basis, and like was said, is addictive physically.

Taking suboxone to withdraw from kratom? i suppose if someone had been taking MASSIVE amounts of kratom for a long while, then something as strong as suboxone could be warranted; otherwise, if a person has been taking a Rational amount every day for a long time, just very slowly decrease your dosage and your withdrawal will not be an issue, in my experience. BTW, red kratom just does not help with my pain whatsoever. I'm told that everyone's body chemistry is different, so that could be it. Even with the white and green, some strains, sometimes, don't seem to help so I end up taking more on those days. I love kratom and I Wish To God that I had discovered it Before ever taking - and getting addicted to Norco! Had I discovered kratom first and tried it for pain relief, as you did - I would have Never taken hydrocodone!!!

Kratom withdrawals are NO JOKE... I thought I was going to literally die. It's the worse withdrawals I have ever experienced. It's definitely worse than opioids and benzos. I don't see myself getting off of Kratom anytime soon because of the awful withdrawals. But I have severe ptsd , anxiety and several other health problems that I'm going to have for the rest of my life. So I honestly doubt I'll be quitting anytime soon. Y'all are in my prayers 🙏💛

@@MrPnutkm I was prescribed opioids for 20+ years along with benzos. Yes I was addicted and dependant on opioids and benzos for half of my life due to having 6 back surgeries starting at age 13. I didn't start taking opioids until my late 20s. As far as Kratom I started taking it a little over 2 years ago after I stopped taking Percocet 10 and valium for my severe anxiety. I have experienced withdrawals from opioids and Kratom and benzos and in my opinion Kratom withdrawals are by far the worst...
