To meet your strategic or tactical goals, you need operational goals and objectives. While the price of the product is itself operational, considering the strategic goals, like retention of customers or catering a large audience. Price is something that you can change on daily basis like the wallmart do by providing low price product daily. Rest of the part, which was optimum level, it will depend on the product, your breakeven point and revenue vs profit ratio.

Tactical marketing gets into the weeds to discover what actions will best serve the strategy. It details what digital marketing campaigns should be created, how those campaigns are executed, what distribution channels will be used and how outreach will be measured. - this is i saw on google thats why I am bit confused acc to this it is tactical

You saw it right. Look, to execute your strategic decision you gonna need tactical plannings, Operational plannings. This is what you have seen on google. Decision for channel distribution is definitely a strategic decision. But to make that strategic decision effective you need tactical and operational plannings. This is what the summary is.
