@@tyrant4425 The image at 5:02 was taken at the SNOLAB, an underground science laboratory located in Ontario that specializes in dark matter physics. The Underground Lab in Outlast was inspired by this real life location.

Actually this isn’t the asylum the game is based off. The real asylum is actually called Mount Massive Asylum For the Criminally Insane. It’s in Lake County, Colorado.

Mount Massive Asylum isn’t a real life location. There is a Lake County in the state of Colorado, but no asylums are located there. A couple of sections of Mount Massive Asylum are modeled after the former Buffalo State Hospital (H.H. Richardson Complex).
