Differences between Studio and Prodigy Series: Faction Skis 23|24

Just waiting for my Prodigy 1's to arrive. It's my first ski and I'm looking forward to riding groomers, and playing around in the park... 🤘

is there any reason you would recommend the “new school mount” over just true center (i’ve always mounted park skis true center)

agree with this question. the studio 1 is a symmetrical ski according to Faction spec sheet, so I am wondering why they would recommend it mounted a few cm back, especially on a pure park dedicated ski.

i just got mine mounted “true center” and it ended up landing over the progressive line on the studios. i don’t understand, is new school a forward mount?

@@kalebhawkinsonthat’s odd. You should never have more Tail than Tip on any ski. Must be an incorrect marking?

@@12f8ewfo yeah i’m not sure. based on my own measurements, true center falls in between the progressive and new school mounting points. which is upsetting because the shop didn’t care to measure it and just stuck me on progressive

what type of skier are each for? one oriented for more park/jib, another for more carve?

im 5ft tall woman intermediate advanced skiier from NY. I like the prodigy 0x but I fear its too long for me since I usually rent 136cm. Should I get the kids prodigy 0x? Is it the same as the adult one other than the size? im torn because I love the design so much.

if your comfortable to ski on long skis then they are good
