Her microlocs look better than sisterlocks in my opinion. Beautiful!

Yes Jay, they look great, she takes good care of them....
@Auggie0256 жыл бұрын
I agree. I personally don't like how thin sisterlocks are and the look of them, which is why I told my sisterlock consultant that I want 250 locs max-ish. I love Jungle Barbie, LocsofLove, and PrettiPoison, Mo's World, and braidlocs here on KZbin. They have the loc thinness I love. At their small sizes you still get the versatility of sisterlocks/microlocs, yet it's a larger number of locs to make self-maintanence quicker/easier than sisterlocks.

Petey Pablo I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. I'm hosting the show because it is my channel and she is my guest. This is our style of sharing. If you were listening closely, you'd know that she is one of my best friends and I'm always enjoying what she shares. She has her own KZbin channel as well which I promote.
@e.Kennedy2466 жыл бұрын
Sorry, it DOES SEEM awkward, regardless of promoting her channel and claim of being a best friend. We have no reason not to believe you, however from an outsider, it just seems there may tension...though nOt from your friend..facial expressions can some time tell lies on a person, so guessing you kind of at lost of words during these expressive times😉...and though your friends locs are very precise, I like your style of locs more, and planning to get started in a week's time.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. She reminds me of the type of "friend" who pretends to be your friend but wouldn't think twice about throwing her under the bus.. just saying. Eyes tell it all. Her friends loc and hers look to be the same size and both are beautiful. I was surprised when she pointed out how "small" her friends locs were lol.
@chicagoliightsx6 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought so. While it was a great and informative video, I could sense a liiittle shade--and I think the lady on the right (our right; guest) picked up on that, but still remained genuine. Idk, maybe the smiles were forced on the hosts end due to anxiety, or the pressure of not knowing what to ask? Based on that, I think I'm gonna go ahead and give her the benefit of the doubt. Lol

everyone can do what he want, but my meaning is that this extreme tight rooting ruins the scalp. there are a lot of problem who lost a lot of hair or have parts where hair dont grow again (you can find them on internet). i myself have dreadlocks, but i never tighten the roots to the maximum.

SSmithProductions she considers her locs small locs. She specifically created hers smaller and she's very happy with that.

I understand that her locs are small locs. I understand that. But her face said it all when you called your locks "traditional", which is to imply her locs were not traditional. Watch time: 1:28 You can see she didn't agree with suggesting her locs weren't traditional. She starts agreeing when you said there are differences we the pattern... which there are.

SSmithProductions ok first of all this is my best friend. Her locs are NOT traditional and she knows it. That was the point of the entire video. I didn't see any negative facial expression there except that she was patiently waiting for her chance to chime in. I don't know where you are going with this but I pray that you find peace in your life. Nicole and I have a 20-year history of friendship and love each other very much. What do you class as cultural appropriation? If a person is "ethnic" or at least half ethnic.. and they respect the culture they're borrowing/ inspired from is it cultural appropriation? What if their choice also serves a practical benefit?.... in other words I want small curly or scraggly or straight small locs or even just faux locs lol.. or chunky braids that I can leave in for a while.. I've thinning shedding (but not balding, stress/ hormones.. doubt I've alopecia) I'm pretty crap at doing my hair.. I'm lucky thanks to my "ethnic side" that I've a lot of it.. 3c hair? Dry, curly, was slightly coarse.. thick hair.. or at least a lot of it but I've been shedding.. I really want something pretty that's wash n go and isn't too tight on my scalp.. I don't bother straightening my hair as it gets humid here and I sweat a lot if I'm stressed or actually work out.. I work in humid conditions too.. Don't wanna perm my hair straight cause I don't suit dead straight hair.. Crappy at doing anything with my hair except a bun or very boring plait.. can't even do a French braid nicely lol...Would shave my head but I don't have the features to pull it off and it's winter here now
