Shabir Ali admitted on camera that the palimpsest was erased and rewritten. He said that they always knew about the different Qurans with different words and meanings and Muslims are repeating what they've been told. His admission is very similar to Sheikh Yasir Qadhi who said that the standard narrative has holes in it and doesn't answer pressing questions from western scholars who are very right about points they bring up.

There clearly is a distinction to make between the initial meaning of the coranic text (which was originally christian, though anti-trinitarian) and the meaning that was imposed (and distorted) later (9th and 10th centuries) by the abbassid caliphs (with the creation of the so-called "prophetic tradition" or "sunnah" with a multitude of hadiths, tafsir and siraa inventions). Their goal was to create a new religion serving their imperial interests of conquest and domination by the sword ... which still persists today

It changed over time. I don't think you can claim it was anti trinitarian until later on. It's a collection of writings, the hymns of which were written by St Ephrem, who called Mary the mother of God. That is not anti trinitarian. It evolved over time and over translation from aramaic into arabic.

If this was just a short two version comparison of the work Hatun Tash was doing and she had 30 published Quran's to compare, does the number of significant variants in meaning and application rise exponentially ? Besides the 'preservation' argument, we also need to know when the dots and slashes were invented by men and does that Theologically fit with the claim the Quran exists in the 'Mother of the Book" with Allah [ in eternity] - what text format is that book ?

@@wendyannh I study using many different translations and your question is founded on not studying His Word. All words and verses that are not crystal clear include footnotes showing and telling exactly what they are, normally found at the bottom of the page. I also check all I use verses the artifacts/scrolls/fragments that have been found and recovered. No doctrine is changed in any translation as long as it is a literal or optimal translation. Those are the ones that have large teams of scholars, who translate the verses from the Aramaic/Greek and Hebrew of those writings. I also read and study the writings of the earliest believers, the followers of His Way before the organized churches became a thing. They contain thousands upon thousands of quotes from those who learned at the Apostles feet. There's a huge difference between a translation of Scripture used so anyone can take up and read in their own language and the 31 to 37 different qurans that have been found to exist. All of those qurans have major differences in doctrine, major points of doctrine and even minor ones. Where as Scripture has none in any of it's translations. All doctrine remains intact even minor points. Hope that helps.

The Arab Mus1ms know that there are dozens of different qur-ans. The dot/dashes (and plenty of other misleading stuff) were added at the end of the 9th/or early century in the official version(s). The 'dot for dot...' because even worse with the translations - as lots of wrong stuff is now found which is not at all present in the Arabic version(s). Quran is super confusing. The zoroastrian influences do point to heavy changes it went through under the khorasanis. From Muhammad splitting the moon, to a strict adherence to multiple prayers a day(5 in islam and 3 in zoroastrian). Islam in my opinion wasn't even islam when the arabs came up with it, they were probably just nestorian christians who were opposed to the holy trinity and created a prophet of their own whom they connected to Ishmael. The khorasanis universalized Islam and spread it elsewhere.

The problem with this channel is that it seems to primarily do very short 10-15 minute videos, not much time to go through the Quran, Hadith, and historical context. In the gospels, it is mentioned that Jesus was sent. Jesus was a human messenger of God among many human messengers of God that were sent throughout history. The human messengers of God were chosen from humans and were sent to convey message to other humans. You do realize that in 1st century Galilee the most common language of the region was Greek right? 99% of all 1st century written documents from the region that the majority of Christ’s documented ministry took place in that have been discovered have been written in Greek. Even the Roman government in Judea continued to operate in Greek(as they did throughout the entire East) and Judea had been under Greek domination for around 360 years at the time when Jesus died. You really think that the people of the region didn’t learn the language in that time? Why do you think they learned Aramaic under the Babylonian domination that came before it? Jesus was multilingual, and several parts of the Gospels include transliterated Hebrew/Aramaic words in Greek as well. Maybe you should rethink your position, Jesus would have spoken the language that the audience was most comfortable receiving the information with 😉
