Teachers needs more respect from all ,most of all teachers needs to be paid for what their worth.Remember a teacher some where has taught a doctor, pastor,nurse,firefighter,police and the list goes on,when going to school I didn't realize how hard of a job a teacher had,now I can reconcile with all teachers.

I LOVE this! I have retired from teaching kindergarten. Silly me, I started teaching college students. Let me just say that teaching kindergarten was/is a prerequisite of teaching college students! 😒I still have moments like all of these teachers!

So was I. I taught an AP high school course, and there was always SO much grading and lesson planning, website preparation,.... I am retired now - no more BS!!!!

True story... I ran into my principal as I was rushing to stock up on groceries as shelter in place orders were being put in place. I knew that I'd be sheltering with my family, so my overflowing cart was at least 40% alcoholic beverages (much of which were front and center in the baby-seat of the cart). As I was getting ready to leave, I ran into my principal, who raised her eyebrows and said, "Well, I see you're stocking up on the essentials." I know that I should have felt shame, but I had zero effs left to give.

I've been a mixture of all of these at some point, but this week is definitely a mix of the burnt out, and don't talk to me....I don't even have the energy to get the sweet elixir and it's not even Nov. yet. 😩😵‍💫

As an adult and worked at a restaurant bar at the time I walked into work and there bellied up to the bar on the last day of classes was every teacher I had during my student days. I asked please tell me me and my brothers didn't do this to you. And I got a few nods of yes, yes you did....I had graduated 10 years prior. I bought them a round.
