Wise choice: Fairing with full window and bags! Big engine, they wear smoothly, not always making the engine work too hard. It's a Guzzi! Have to see your other 2 video's on this purchase, I bet you still own this ride and your wife has her version? Thanks for the vid!

Nice! Looks almost the same as a 2017 Stelvio I bought a few months back! Maybe, the green is a little different but it might be the video. I have almost 600 miles now and have been enjoying it more and more...

I love the bike as well. I'm pretty sure they're the same bike as the last update was in 2012. Mine was actually custom painted by the previous owner. Mine was initially red.
@Turco9495 жыл бұрын
@@DifferentSpokesTV Still a nice color! The bike really does stand out! Yes, the changes were (probably) mostly to the engine/tuning. I have almost no idling issues, very minor occasional surging during throttling down in first gear when cold but otherwise it has no issues so far. It did seem to be running smoother the more I ride it. Enjoy yours and safe riding!

There was a 2017 Stelvio?! I thought it was discontinued after 2016.
@Turco9494 жыл бұрын
@@northof-62 I believe 2017 was the last year but as DS mentioned, other than color and a few accessories, there was not much of a change to the bike from 2012 and on. Even though the later years were supposedly better tuned from the factory, I did end up buying the "Moto Guzzi Tuning fuel injection Optimiser V7 X 2 Units" on eBay from Motocorsaro3 which seemed to make the bike idle and run smoother a little better.

Mirrors vibrating, eh? They must've fixed that on my (2016 ABS NTX) model because they never do on mine. (btw. have you sold the Guzzi by now?)
@DifferentSpokesTV4 жыл бұрын
My mirrors are quite vibey at certain rpms but I'm glad to hear they addressed that on later models. My Yamaha isn't coming till July from what I've been told so I'm riding the Guzzi until then. I'll make a video on trading it in when it happens. Thanks for the comment. Cheers.

Hello, Picking up mine ('14 model) in a week. Could you tell me what Windshield is that please? Does not look like mine. And mine is too short

Mr. Spokes! Thank you for documenting your experiences on the Stelvio. Looking to trade in my Duc Scrambler for a Stelvio '15 with 35k km on it. And the environment you ride in is not that different than here in Denmark - minus mountains of course 😊. Anyways your reasons for riding is similar to mine, so please keep posting 👍.

Thanks Karsten. Have fun on your Stelvio. It's definitely a long distance bike so a trip to the Alps or further will be pleasure for you. I'll be heading up to my cottage later in the summer and will document all the rides I do there.
