You want to par cook your sweet potatoes first by simmering them. Right before they’re just fork tender you want to drain them and pat dry them. Then you put them in the air fryer! That will crisp them right up.

I have this air fryer toaster oven and LOVE IT. One of my favorite things is quicker cook times. I used to roast potatoes in my range oven and it would take me 45-50 minutes at 425 to get them just right. With this air fryer toaster oven, it takes about 20 minutes at 425 to get them how I like. Love things that save me time!

Wow, I usually don't get all soft hearted looking at videos of families but oh my god, your family is just so cute and your kids are so obedient. They seem genuinely happy. I wish all kids had an opportunity to be raised in a household like this. All kids would be a mess if they were raised in horrible households. Dust them with cornstarch before cooking and they'll crisp up You need to take some extra steps to get sweet potato crispy. They don't have as much starch as regular potatoes and when cooked, the starch they do have is turned to sugar, leaving you soggy fries. If you want to take an extra step, boil them in vinegar water before cooking, the vinegar helps retard the enzyme that turns the starch in sweet potatoes to sugar.

Try boiling the sweet potatoes for about 10 min and let them dry completely before throwing them into the air fryer. Also a generous coat of oil. Careful you don't break them apart when coating them.

Sweet potato. To get them crispy. Add a tablespoon of oil in a bowl mix it up with the sweet potato 🍠. Add some salt. then air fry.

Sweet potatoes will get crispy. You just have to toss them in a little bit of high smoke point oil. We use avocado oil.

You can totally use it to bake stuff. You're obviously limited to smaller pans but we use it all the time for baking.

I have never done sweet potato fry's, but when I air fry regular fries, I spray them with olive oil spray and they come out very crispy! The same with Chicken wings!

I just picked this up at Best Buy last weekend. So far, we LOVE it! The flip up storage and cleanout door on the bottom are pure genius! So, I happened to replace a laptop a few weeks ago and joined the TechTeam (2 year membership for $199) so that I could have Geek Squad upgrade the RAM and Hard drive on the laptop. That purchase earned my $75 in Best Buy Certificates so I thought I would get this $220 Air Fryer for $145. BUT, as a Tech Team member, I was eligible for a special price for this purchase. Your family is so cute! Great review. I just got one and agree about the sweet potato fries 😢. Even still, it's my new favorite thing. As for the clean up, I take the air fry basket, put it in the pan, pour some vinegar in the bottom, sprinkle some baking soda and leave for about 20 minutes. When I come back, everything wipes down easy. Hope that helps.

Nice review. Please note the preheat function will preheat the oven but will not preheat to the temperature you set. If you use an oven thermometer you will see it actually takes 5-8 minutes to get to the higher temperatures. I look forward to your future reviews!!
