Looks like the rear bump/compression could use some dialing in and a Jeff Thomas long travel kit would help a lot. In my experience with Cal-Tracs you gotta drop the link bar to the lowest setting and hit them hard to get them to work good, some leaf spring sliders might help as well. Truck is looking great after just a few outings man.

Thanks man. That’s exactly what I’m thinking with what you just said. It has sliders already, and we were just talking about making a few shock setting changes. Hopefully we get it figured out in the next few weeks. I’m going to invest in some better suspension stuff this winter to be more competitive next year.

In addition to cranking up the cal-tracs, try less compression on the rear and loosen up travel and slower the rebound on the front. Like was mentioned, hit the tires hard. Seems like after about 45-50 feet the front end comes down and then you lose traction. Also are you running slicks or drag radial? Slicks are preferred for no prep and back side/street racing. Do be the guy that puts sand all over the track, make your self a Removable wight bar. Love the truck tho 👌

I’ve got the bags wrapped a couple times and strapped in now. Ive been getting some removable weights and eventually will be done with the sand, that’s my biggest fear is messing up the track on a pass. Thanks!
