The green thing is a string bean, not a kidney bean. Kidney beans are red, bean sized and oblong FYI 🙂 Your videos relax my racing heart. Thank you for de-stressing me. You cook the dumplings in a dangerous way by adding oil to water. It could pop and splatter and be very dangerous. They're also supposed to be flipped.

@@DigDigJAPAN Kidney beans are basically just red beans. 🫘
@smol-one3 ай бұрын
@@DigDigJAPANkidney beans can be red or white in the US. The red ones are visually similar to adzuki beans, if that helps. The long beans you see on the paella are young beans. When the beans grow, they grow inside of that long part. If you had split one open you would've found tiny, immature beans in it. They are typically green, but can be yellow too. But if you were to let the beans mature and dry, then you can split the pod open and get 'normal' beans.
@hoopoe11043 ай бұрын
Where I come from that long bean is called a 'Green Bean'. And it only comes in green. Kidney beans are in the shape of your kidneys and that is why it is called a Kidney Bean.
