The green thing is a string bean, not a kidney bean. Kidney beans are red, bean sized and oblong FYI 🙂 Your videos relax my racing heart. Thank you for de-stressing me. You cook the dumplings in a dangerous way by adding oil to water. It could pop and splatter and be very dangerous. They're also supposed to be flipped.

Oh! I was curious, and when I searched for green beans in Japan, the ones served on top of this paella came up in the search results...😂 Are green beans in America red?! I'm curious... I'm so glad you're relaxed☺️ I guess this cooking method is dangerous, right? 🥹 I was nervous as well when I poured the oil in...

@@DigDigJAPAN Kidney beans are basically just red beans. 🫘
@smol-one
@smol-one 3 ай бұрын
@@DigDigJAPANkidney beans can be red or white in the US. The red ones are visually similar to adzuki beans, if that helps. The long beans you see on the paella are young beans. When the beans grow, they grow inside of that long part. If you had split one open you would've found tiny, immature beans in it. They are typically green, but can be yellow too. But if you were to let the beans mature and dry, then you can split the pod open and get 'normal' beans.

Where I come from that long bean is called a 'Green Bean'. And it only comes in green. Kidney beans are in the shape of your kidneys and that is why it is called a Kidney Bean.

They have a programme here called 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here!' where they eat all kinds of insects and offal, so your cookie seemed pretty safe lol. I can understand your hesitation though. Ah - gluten doesn't affect weight loss! It's just whether or not it has it - some people are intolerant to gluten, but all it is is a protein from wheat. If you aren't allergic to it, not having it means nothing to you at all. A gluten free thing can still be packed with calories, which is what puts weight on you~

0:25 The first 1000 times, I thought it was just a typo, but since you persist, let me help you. It might be a "convenient store", but it's called "convenience store". By the way, there are things called spell-checkers. Even better, freemium services like Grammarly will help you a lot.

Maybe in Japan they call them convenient stores. They have fans all over the world, not just in the US. FYI...On military bases in the US the call them 7 day stores. So as long as you get it, it's fine.

@@Nightsisters_Clan I'm not sure what your point is. I'm not from the US. Also, I'm not a native English speaker and make many mistakes, but I welcome corrections when they are politely given. The CC is in English; therefore, if you talk about "convenience store", that's the correct terminology. Finally, "as long as you get it, it's fine." It's an awful attitude, as well as legitimate ignorance and laziness. I tolerate mistakes if there is a will to improve and acceptance to help. However, when this will isn't there, I only see a person who's lazy and most likely a failure in many other aspects of life.
