I played this game back in early 80ies when I was a little guy. Still have the music stuck in my head almost 30 years later. I need to know: There are songs out there ( house / electro ) which have mixed the digger music theme. Does anyone know of one of those remixes ???

Childhood memories indeed! I had a system that guaranteed max score on lvl 1 and - with some luck lvl 2, but beyound that its pure just luck and/or skills :P Plus that game was dependant on cpu clock - the fastest cpu - the fastest the game - anyone remembers the turbo button? :P

@MaximumPayne12 You can play it if you have the game files installed on a directory on your c:\ drive make sure it's your C: drive and not program files or other sub directory and get the Dosbox Dos emulator then all you need to do is load Dosbox, well you may have to toy with the Dosbox.conf first to make sure it wont run to fast or slow and type Mount c: c:\(game directory) followed by c: then run the game's exe , unless it's a disc booter then you have to check the dosbox wiki on how to run

This game is a Digdug clone, but I think Digger is way more awesome. Together wit Alley Cat this must be one of the best oldskool PC arcade classics out there :-)

i played this game on the PC (PC XT - 8088 intel microprocessor/DOS) back in the days, i made an accidental hex edit on the .exe file and man, all these enemies are stuck on their spawning point. I wasn't able to see the end though. Feelsbadman.

No he is not. This guy is a novice. You can score upto 8650 in the first level. The idea is to eat all the diamonds and the dollar bags after dropping them. To do that without the bigger monsters getting form you need to first eliminate the little monsters.
